Huron Paradise is a very cute, comfy, and family-friendly home on Lake Huron! Features private sandy beach with beach bonfire ring, backyard patio, propane grill, outdoor dining, and a fun sunroom with lakeview. The primary bedroom is also amazing with a queen-size bed, sofa, private ensuite bathroom, private television, and private entrance from the beach and backyard. Includes central air conditioning, 2 kayaks, super high-speed Wi-Fi (1000 mbps), and washer and dryer as well!
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:
We have a local property manager that lives in the area and is available to address any issues, concerns, or questions that may arise.
NEIGHBORHOOD:
The home is located just east of downtown Au Gres in a small residental neighborhood on Lake Huron. The home is easily accessible and there is little traffic in the area. The homes in the neighborhood are a mix of vacation homes and year-round residences.
Au Gres itself is a tranquil escape on the shores of Saginaw Bay. It is the "Perch Capital of Michigan" and fishing for both walleye and perch is very popular in the area. The area is also great for boating and hiking. Downtown Au Gres provides small-town charm, unique shops, and family-owned restaurants. Au Gres is a very cute lakefront community and it has less traffic and crowds than a lot of other beach towns in MIchigan.
ACCESS:
Guests have access to the entire property, except for the attached garage, which is locked off for owner storage.
THE SPACE:
The home is very comfortable and casual. The home is styled in a traditional northern Michigan woodsy style. The home is very family-friendly and there is some child-friendly furntiure, accessories, and toys at the property.
TRANSIT:
It is highly recommended that guests have their own means of transportation.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1) PET POLICY: All pets are strictly prohibited.
2) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.
3) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.
4) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.
5) QUIET HOURS: For the sake of the neighborhood, please observe quiet hours at the property from 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM.
6) ATTACHED GARAGE: Please note that there is an attached garage that guests do have access to. (In fact, it is necessary to enter the house through the garage.)
7) MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Maximum occupancy is strictly limited to no more than 8 people in total and no more than 4 vehicles at the property at any point in time.
8) GUEST ENTRY: Please note that entry to the house is through the attached garage.
9) INDOOR FIREPLACE: Please note that the indoor gas fireplace is NOT available for guest usage.
10) TRAVEL CRIB: Note that the property does include use of a travel crib, but guests need to provide their own sheets for using it.
11) PROPANE GRILL: It's not shown in the photos, but there is a propane grill that is available for use. (Guests must clean the grill after usage though.)
