Unwind in Big Pine at our beautiful dog friendly home. We have 4 friendly pups who love attention but will not be in your space. We are a quiet professional couple who work and play locally. This welcoming rental features 1 bedroom and a private bath in our home accessed by a shared entrance. Your room is furnished with 1 full bed and 1 twin bed, dresser and work space, perfect for a cozy stay. The bathroom is private and accessed via a shared hallway and is equipped with a shower and a hair dryer for your convenience. Feel at home with amenities like AC/heat, iron, in room mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, outdoor jacuzzi, BBQ, and fire pit and walk or short drive to the best hiking and fishing and all the Eastern Sierra has to offer! We hope you enjoy what our place and Big Pine has to offer. We have been 5 star hosts for a year and branching out to VRBO. We are on site or close by at all times and happy to answer questions and make recommendations about things to do and see and the best places to eat nearby. Whether you prefer it private and quiet or like to hang out, we will happily follow your lead.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is small and friendly, pretty quiet, and slow paced. We love the proximity to the mountains and creeks and being in a very small town but still only a 15 minute drive to work and shopping in Bishop.

What makes this property unique

Most visitors say they love the seasonal creek and the tree swing best. I love to relax in the hammock or on the deck with a good book. Our home backs up to open space with access to trails that take you as far as you like. There is also a Frisbee golf course that can be accessed from our house if you're into that! And if you like traditional golf, the Bishop Country Club is a short 15 min drive. (My husband's favorite spot!) But really the most amazing thing is our proximity to the Big Pine Lakes hike just 9 miles up the road behind us. You just can't beat the beauty on that trail. Of course, every season offers different adventures and we also have access to some pretty great off road trails, horseback riding, back country skiing, fishing, and hunting. We are also just an hour drive from Mammoth Mountain.
