We had a wonderful stay. The hosts are responsive and helpful, the unit is very well equipped and situated, the pool is great, the staff is lovely, and everyone is so friendly. Would definitely stay again!

We’re just a cop and a teacher from New Jersey who love to travel and are eager to share what we experience with our guests when we visit Playa Encuentro with our family of five.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this neighborhood because of the laid-back, free-spirited vibe we experience when we visit. We have been to every corner of this country, from the cities to the mountains, and this neighborhood is like no other place in the entirety of the Dominican Republic.

What makes this property unique

This unit sits on the first floor in a complex with no elevators. It also sits along the long side of the pool, so there’s a clear view of it from the dining area to easily watch the kids or just enjoy the beautiful manicured courtyard. The unit is in the only building that does not run along the loud side street, and we installed ceiling fans on the balcony, so the balcony can be enjoyed comfortably in relative tranquility.
