The small home— unique and private
Te Whare Iti (the small house) is a container house with a full-size bedroom (with queen bed) bathroom, and kitchen.
There is a comfortable two-seater couch in the living space and the bedroom has a queen size bed.
The house is completely stand alone and very private. It has its own entrance and off street parking for one vehicle. It has a large sunny deck to soak up the views of the hills.
The home is about a 10 minute walk to the shops in Richmond.
Richmond it is an excellent base for trips to Mapua, Golden Bay, the Great Taste Cycle Trail or swims in the river up the Aniseed Valley (10 mins away).
Nelson city is just a 15-20 minute drive away and it's only a 10 min drive to the airport.
There is a shopping complex with two supermarkets, petrol stations, banks, large stores (The Warehouse, K Mart, Farmers) and several restaurants close by.

The Nelson region, at the top of the South Island is beautiful- there are golden beaches, crystal clear rivers, great walking and cycling track all within an hours drive…or ride.

We have a large property with an older house (our home) and the newer container home, or Te Whare Iti (the small home), is at the top of the property and is completely separate.
