Rio Verde welcomes you to this beautiful 4-bedroom ranch-style home. The house features two king beds, one queen bed, and one twin bed, along with three full bathrooms—ideal for families or groups.

Enjoy a peaceful and soothing atmosphere with year-round heating and air conditioning. Whether relaxing after a day of adventure or sharing a meal together, this home truly feels like a home away from home.

Please note: the heated pool is currently closed for winter renovation, and pool access will not be available during your stay.

For guest safety, the property is equipped with exterior security cameras. Guests may request that all exterior cameras be turned off during or after booking, and we will gladly honor that request.

The house was great but it was advertised as having a heated pool and hot tub. We did not find out that neither was in working condo until we arrived at the house. After explaining to the host that we were never told this information and it should have been indicated in the house listing, the host told me he would add that information which he did by the next morning. Although we really enjoyed the house, we would have never chosen it if we had known that the pool and hot tub were not available especially since the house is so far from everything-15 minutes to the nearest gas station. There was also conflicting information-was told there was a key pad to get in but no key pad anywhere, the host gave us WiFi information but the information in the house was different. Supplies were at a minimum-no ice which I had to purchase-I also had to purchase more dish soap and trash bags. None of these are a huge deal but would expect to have enough of these. Should have known this would be sketchy as no reviews were available. Not sure if we will use Vrbo again especially since our first reservation was randomly canceled on us 6 days before our trip! We did get a refund but the reason was listed for the cancellation was a minimum age requirement-this had nothing to do with us! We were told the landlord cancelled the contract and the utilities were being turned off. I emailed Vrbo about this but never heard back. Just not happy with our whole experience with Vrbo.

We truly appreciate your business and are glad to hear that you enjoyed the home itself. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment regarding the pool and hot tub. At the time of your stay, the pool was closed as we are planning a full and complete renovation during the summer, which is why it has been permanently taken out of service. We understand how important these amenities can be, and we regret that this impacted your experience. We have since updated the listing to ensure this information is clearly communicated moving forward. Regarding the location, Rio Verde is a wonderful option for a family retreat depending on a guest’s preferences and travel goals. While it offers a peaceful, rural setting, it is still within miles of North Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, Carefree, local lakes, wildlife parks, and many other attractions. Some guests specifically seek out this quieter environment with open space and amenities nearby, and many are drawn to the unique horse property setting. That said, we completely understand that this location may not be ideal for everyone. We also apologize for the confusion with the entry instructions, WiFi information, and household supplies. Your feedback is noted, and we are actively working to improve consistency in our communication and ensure essentials are better stocked for future guests. We truly appreciate you staying with us and sharing your experience.
