This country living Pool Home is on 1 acre and gives you plenty of privacy for your vacation stay! Enjoy the quiet country life while rocking in the rocking chairs by the pool without having neighbors close by. Smoking is permitted outside or in the pool area just not inside the home. The pool is not heated but we have plenty of warm days in Florida to use it. You are centrally located to many Fl attractions like legoland, Bok Tower, Sebring races,Sun N Fly Fly-in and the Orlando attractions. Many times there are cows across the street to enjoy the country life from the front porch! Some Discounts apply so plug in your dates! We do have a 3rd bedroom when 5 -6 people want to stay. If you are renting this home with just the 2 bedrooms, no one else will be renting the 3rd bedroom while you are staying there.

There is a grill on the back carport and must stay there as well when you want to BBQ. We have well water that does sometimes have sulfur as a lot of Florida water does. A Nuvo Water System has been added recently to help this. It is perfectly fine to drink since it is 8.5 on the alkaline scale. Sulfur water is actually great for you and your skin and it helps to de-tox your liver!

The house has a digital entrance and we will provide you the code the day of or day before check in. Pineapple plants are growing and you may be able to pick a fresh pineapple if it is the right time of year! We also have a mulberry tree and help yourself when they are blooming and have turned purple!

We live in a neighboring town, but always available to answer any questions. We want this to be a place you will always want to return to.

You are minutes away from beautiful Crooked Lake (which is great for swimming, fishing or boating), 10 minutes from Bok Tower 20 minutes from Legoland, less than an hour away from Disney and the Orlando attractions, and a little over an hour to Busch Gardens in Tampa. The Lakeland Sun n Fun is about 45 minutes away! We are located less then 2 hours from the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.

Wifi—Hughes network and instructions are in the house rule book in the living room.
The house manual is on the desk in the living room please have all guest read all the pages! The wifi information is in the manual.

This was a well kept older home that was clean, nicely decorated and homey. The beds were very comfortable with nice bedding and the rooms furnished with beautiful antique furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as dishes, pots and pans, ice maker and spices. The living room was comfortable, could use an update, but was clean and tidy. We relaxed with our elderly dad, watched a movie, and visited while our grandchildren played at the table or on the nice rug. But we spent most of our time around the pool enjoying the nice patio furniture, sunshine, and cool breeze. The pool water was cold, but we were told in advanced it wasn’t heated. It was still enjoyable, but will be nicer when it’s hot out! Our grandchildren also did some running around in the big yard. Perhaps a few outdoor toys for children would be a nice addition. The home is located on a busy road, but is totally fenced in and we didn’t really notice the traffic noise. But our favorite part about this nice home was the host! She was kind, helpful, and very responsive to all of our needs. I will definitely be using this home again when I’m in the area and need a place to stay. Thank you Lynda!

House was old and furnishings were very old and run down. Should have been replaced 20 years ago. Well water has strong odor and taste. There was constant traffic noise all day and into the night from in front of the house. Very far away from everything. We had booked for 25 days but left after 4…expensive lesson learned.

Tony only rented the 2 bedroom home. The 3rd bedroom has all new furniture since 2023 and totally remodeled room. The kitchen and bathroom has been remodeled in the last several years. We state that we do have sulfur water and the water is 8.5 alkaline. Sulfur water does have an odor. It bothers some people and other people are ok with it. It is a good liver detox for you and great for your skin as well. Florida has a lot of sulfur water. People pay big bucks to bathe in sulfur springs! We are in front of a 2 lane road, we have very little complaints with the road noise. I am sorry it bothered Tony. We are 5 miles from Lake Wales and walking distance to a 7 - Eleven.
