Excellent spot if you want to be near but not directly in the madness of downtown Gatlinburg. Would stay again. The property (in the unit) is a perfect haven from the bustle of Gatlinburg. My kids are only 3 and 5, so the walk to and from town was a little tough for the younger kid. That said, I’m not sure I would want to be closer to town given how busy it is. For us the location was great. The building itself is currently being renovated (so construction noises during the day and the construction folks accidentally cut the power in the building for 20min in the middle of the day). It also seemed to have lots of sort term renters, which meant they also provided a luggage cart (it’s the little things).My hubby and I both agreed this unit made the trip with little ones the best yet! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!
