The cottage is very comfortable and Heather supplied fresh eggs from the chickens every morning, plus all the other breakfast food which was included. We really enjoyed the tawny port!Lovely garden with plenty of wildlife.
The cottage was fabulous to stay in with great amenities. Our host Graeme checked in with us to make certain that everything was working well. The gardens were terrific and we loved the amount of Birdlife it attracted.

Hi Peter, it was an absolute pleasure to have you stay with us. We were not around much for your stay, so glad you found everything you needed. Thank you for the wonderful state that you lett the cottage. Please come back soon ! Graham and Heather
On arrival at this gorgeous cottage, we first noticed the beautiful garden. The cottage was clean, cozy and to our surprise fresh eggs, tomatoes, bread and bacon were supplied. I would recommend Gaswork Cottages to anyone and have no hesitation in booking again next time I'm in South Aus.Strathalbyn is a very pretty town we based ourselves there for 3 days which was central to all the wine regions we drove to.
My adult son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Gasworks Garden Suite.Heather and Graham are very friendly and thoughtful. The cottage has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We stayed for 6 days and would have loved to stay longer. The garden is stunning with vews down to the Angas River, lots of bird life and many delightful spots to sit and enjoy the serenity of the area. Their local knowledge is very helpful. We were supplied with local bread, wine and fresh eggs from the Diva Chooks at the bottom of the garden. Jake the staffie gave us his approval! Thanks Heather, Graham and Jake.
We loved our stay in the Garden Suite at Gasworks Cottages. The cottage was perfect for the two of us, with such gorgeous gardens surrounding us. Our host Heather was excellent and made our stay wonderful. We loved meeting Jake the dog too! I'd recommend this place to others.
