Buena Vista #505 is a gulf-side 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium located on the 5th floor with a side view of the Gulf of Mexico from the living room and master bedroom. The unit is approximately 1000 sq ft and has recently had some renovations done. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with new cabinetry and granite counter tops. Condo has full-size washer and dryer. Both bedrooms boast having king beds. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with walk in shower. The hall bath has a tub/shower combo. Upgraded cable and free WiFi. Accommodates up to 6 people.

Buena Vista is a 7 story building located in Gulf Shores approximately 0.7 miles west of Highway 59. Buena Vista has an outdoor pool. There is a 2 car limit.

The place was better than we expected! Had a nice ocean side view which I wasn’t expecting!! Elevator was working amazingly!! No problems getting to the pool or the beach… just know- the HOA lady is VERY aware of where yall park. So DO NOT PARK under the building!! You will be towed! Bushwhackers at the awesome place next door are SPOT ON!! Make sure you walk or Uber!!Will make sure we come back! Amazing week for sure!!!!

Perfect for 2 couples or family of 4

This is the best rental property I have stayed at by far! Condo was clean, comfortable and updated. Beach access was easy and the pool was right on the beach. The balcony can be accessed from either the living room or master bedroom and has plenty of seating and views of the beach. Beach and pool both had code access as well as the front door which made it easy to not have to carry keys or cards when you’re out! There were plenty of kitchen pots/pans/utensils/glasses and enough cleaning supplies and towels but be sure to bring beach towels, extra rolls of tp and garbage bags as the fine print suggests.

My only suggestion would be to replace the toilet with a higher one in the bathroom by the deck. Plus the common bathroom shower drips constantly.

We enjoyed our stay. Condo was clean and as advertised. Towels and linens were clean. Loved the balcony, even though it’s a side view, it was still a great view. Very short walk to the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Only complaints were: Need larger skillets; the cable went out at midnight the first night, but was back on the next morning (no storms, never really got an explanation for that, but it didn’t happen again); the hot water in the shower only lasted 5 minutes, then the water would switch to lukewarm EVERY SINGLE TIME; the tvs are smart tvs, but access to those functions are blocked; the tv in the second bedroom has the cable box behind the tv, so we never could get the remote to work (it’s set up the same way in the main bedroom but the remote worked fine in there). Overall, we would stay here again though.

The location is stellar. Located right on the beach with an amazing view of the water. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby and even within walking distance. In addition, the wifi is very strong. Our PlayStation, laptop, tablet, and phones were all connected with a very strong and fast connection. However, the condo itself wasn't that great. The furniture was stained. And the pillows were also stained, which was gross. In addition, the towels and linens appeared to be clean, but they were paper thin (cheap quality) and contained holes. The outside balcony was filthy. The chairs were cheap plastic and really dirty. The tables were heavier, but also very dirty and not well kept. We were unable to use the balcony that much due to the furniture and filth of the floor. If you were out there, your feet would be black with dirt. Also, the toilet brushes in the bathrooms were in plain sight and just disgusting. No way could something like that clean anything. I almost threw them out so we wouldn't have to see them, but thought I may be fined for it. A fresh coat of paint with non stained furniture would go a long way for this condo. I'm probably being more harsh since my sister and her family rented a condo in this building for less per night and way higher quality.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo experience could have been better. Neither bathroom had outlets that worked - I had to go to Walmart & buy a 12 foot extension cord to use for my hairdryer & flat iron. In the 1st bathroom when you enter the condo the shower would not shut completely off & hissed 24 hrs a day. We had 6 people with 2 Rolls of 1 ply bath tissue, one roll of cheap paper towels, two tiny bars of hotel type soap & a cheap tiny bottle of dishing liquid. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m tired of paying premium prices for nothing. They also informed us we had to bring our own beach towels! We found dirty dishes in the cabinet & some dirty silverware. The condo was decorated cute & most of it was clean. We were given the wrong code for the gates to the pool & beach access but one of the owners gave us his code before the property manager got back to us. We loved the chairs on the balcony & the view was really good even though it was a side view. The kids had a great time & that’s what we were concerned about. I don’t think I would rent this unit again for the price we paid. We work hard for our money and expected more. These type of rentals will not give any type of refund for the inconveniences.

Great location, great value!

For the cost you really can’t beat it! Right on the beach with gated access and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. The rental was very clean and tidy. The deck area was large and provided a great view. We would definitely stay again at this condo.

Everything that was listed about the place was true. Friends and I had a great time. Only problem is that the pull out couch is uncomfortable because there’s a metal bar right in the middle that hurts. But overall it was nice.

There was a pair of lady’s underwear on top of the couch, some hair in the shower, candy bar wrapper on the floor, and the glasses in the cabinet appeared to have mold in them. WIFI connection is also not great at all and kept going in an out.
