The property was in a nice area with a nice short walk to the beach and a few options for groceries and such around around the area. There were some small things in the unit that were normal wear and tear that could do with being fixed. Most difficult part was the neighbors. They were up all hours and playing loud music and instruments and they had a dog that would race to his dog run the moment you even touched your door to take your dog into the yard. Never had a full issue but it made us uncomfortable with smaller dogs and smaller children. Host was excellent at responding and ensuring things brought to their attention during the stay would be addressed after check out, which is always a plus.

The easy stroll to the shore and nearby conveniences make it a lovely spot for a relaxed coastal stay, and we’re glad our team was responsive during your visit. We’ll follow up on the items you noted in the home and share your feedback about the neighboring noise and dog activity with the appropriate parties, so we can help future stays feel more comfortable.

The house was great for our family! It has a large kitchen with plenty of space to prepare meals for a group. The kitchen included a full-size refrigerator, an assortment of dish’s pots, pans, and necessities. The three full baths and one-half baths worked out fantastic for everyone getting ready for the day’s events. There were four TV's! The backyard includes a nice hot tub enclosed in a fully fenced back yard, perfect for the family dog. The house is located on a quiet dead in road within walking distance to the beach. Perfect for a peaceful get-away.

We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place to other travelers! The room was very clean and well-kept, which made us feel comfortable right away. You can tell the host takes pride in maintaining the space. The host was also very responsive and welcoming, making the entire process smooth from check-in to check-out. Any questions we had were answered quickly, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights was the hot tub, it was clean, relaxing, and perfect after a long day. It really added an extra level of comfort to the stay. The house was very comfortable and easy to access. Genuinely allowed for us to have an excellent getaway to reconnect. Overall, a clean, cozy, and stress-free stay. I would absolutely come back!

The fenced area needed a lot of work, it could use some upkeep. The hort tub was great though! The kitchen was well stocked and very clean, plenty of dishes and seating. It would have been nice to have ziplock bags though. The bathrooms and bedrooms were also clean and well done. The faucets in the master bath were tricky and took a bit of figuring out. The cords need organized for the tvs and devices, and the home stereo didn't work. There were two gorgeous German Shepherds next door, and our German Shepherd insisted on having loud conversations with them, so that was a bit of a challenge also.

Thank you for taking the time to share your stay — we truly appreciate the detailed feedback. We're glad the hot tub, the clean and well-stocked kitchen, and the comfortable bedrooms and baths were highlights. We also noted your comments about the fenced area, zip-top bags, faucet operation, TV cords and the stereo; our team will refresh the fence, add zip-top bags to the kitchen supplies, provide clearer faucet instructions, tidy the cords, and inspect the stereo. The lively exchanges with the neighbor German Shepherds sound memorable — we’ll add a pet note to the house guide to help future guests. Thanks again for choosing Gleneden Beach Escape; we’d love to welcome you back.

We have stayed here before and we really love the house and its proximity to the beach. We appreciate the fact that we can bring our pups to enjoy the visit. But, the neighbors next door had 2 very big, aggressive german Shepards. They were trying to jump over the fence to get to our dogs, it was scary to say the least. No slight to the house we stayed in. Just be prepared if you bring your fur babies that they wont be able to enjoy the backyard like intended.

Great place to stay! Kid friendly and perfect for dogs! Plenty of games to play. My house doesn't have stairs so that was new for the dogs. Love that there were pet bowls and towls for them the dogs. I didn't know if there was hot tub towls so I took some but didn't need to use them. There was planty of towels and shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. Well stocked kitchen for at home cooking. The beach is within walking distance and Side Door Cafe one of my favorite places to go. We would definitely stay again.

The house was average clean. There is a pile of junk stacked in the former garage. the rooms were clean. One bedroom has a sink but the plumbing is not functional. The bar was not stocked. No bar was not a problem this was a family/spring break get away. 2 teachers, 1 student, a baby, a spouse and 2 grand parents. Grandpa, dad and student enjoyed the hot tub.We used the house as a base for day adventures,

Spring Break Stay

Overall, great stay. There’s a few minor issues we discovered such as leaks, a full dishwasher upon arrival, surfaces not wiped down, and some toilets not working but still a great place to go. Also LOVED the bidet!!! We got a great deal and enjoyed our stay at this lovely house.

Great place to stay at for a few days.

It was a very good place to stay at, in the game room there were different games, digital and non-digital. However, the digital games were very limited, but they are still good to last a few days.

We had several issues such as the washing machine was not in working order the fireplace amenity that they advertised wasn’t available. Bathroom sinks, slow draining.Gas grill not enough propane. However, since our overall state was a short visit, we were able to get by without the amenities that did not work. The most roughest one was the washing machine. We had a lot of dirty clothes to take home, but otherwise overall the stay was a pleasant one due to the fact that we had family together and were able to have the beach close by. It has a great kitchen and dining room room where we could gather around and play cards and visit.

Great gathering place!

What a great layout for family or friend gatherings. Well stocked kitchen, great selection of entertainment, fun and interesting books to browse. The pictures don't do justice to the rooms and amenities of this house. We really enjoyed staying here.

Adult Family beach trip

It was an easy walk to the beach. The house was nicely laid out for family dinners, playing cards, sitting on the deck and having everyone be together. There were plenty of accommodations for 7 adults, and everyone had a great time!

We loved our stay. There are a couple of things that I feel need addressing. There needs to be a notebook with details on all the remotes and what should be used for what. The master bathroom has an interesting shower, by the third day I had it figured out. :( Last the door lock. Please get something more user friendly. A 10 number code is a bit much. It took at least 15 minutes to get in every time. Sorry but we just stopped locking it by the second day. As an older woman with the facilities on the other side of the door, I have almost not made it to the bathroom. There are so many different locking units that only require 4 to 5 numbers so there is less chance of messing up the series.

Fix the leak under the sink in the upstairs room with the hide-a-bed. And both toilets upstairs constantly run unless you wiggle the handle. Other than that was a very nice staying at that place.
