About the host
Hosted by Alonso Lopez
I am a Mexican musician from México City born in the state of Chiapas, I love reading and music listening, my craft (music) takes me around the world hence why my space becomes available for you to share!
Why they chose this property
I have always loved the history and artistic vibe of Coyoacán, from artists featured in galleries like the MoMA or the TATE modern like Frida Kahlo to its lovely coffee shops or the history that made Leo Trotsky shelter in Coyoacán and my beloved Music School this very well communicated and safe neighborhood seemed like the place where I would enjoy owning property.
I love waking up to go for a run to the Viveros or walk to the Anahuacalli Diego Rivera's Prehispanic art collection, take the train to get to a massive international match in Estadio Azteca (where the world cup will be kickstarted this 2026) or just use the subway to go to the historic Centre of the city for business or a stroll. It's all so reachable from here.

What makes this property unique
As I said, I do travel a lot as a musician and while I like to keep my decoration relatively minimal you will find pretty details of such travels like: a photo I took in a mosque in the Sultanate of Oman and another from sailing through alaskan fjords, a poster I got in Barcelona depicting Gaudi's architecture, books from all over the place and a little captain Goofy figurine saluting my visitors when they first come in.
