This beautiful mission style home, is surrounded by a 5 ft wall for privacy. Open style living area with sun room and french doors opens onto a beautiful yard. Sleeps 6 + with 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twins and 2 couches. Completely furnished with well stocked kitchen and service for 12+ and seating for same. The pool and spa has a large dec area for lounging or entertaining and the backyard has a gas grill, bar top table and a large fire pit. Theres even an umbrella that fits in the shallow end of the pool if you want shade. Native landscaping plus fruit trees and lots of quiet spots to relax. . Washer and Dryer available on request. Great view of the mountains, designed to help you relax and escape from the real world. House is not childproof but children are welcome. Renters must be over 30.

Absolute delight

Wendy's hacienda in La Quinta is so warm and charming, you immediately feel at home. It's in a nice neighborhood with easy access, it was perfect for my buddy's and my 3-night golf getaway . Wendy's communications couldn't have been any more clear or helpful, amenities were plentiful, and the place was spotless. I'd heartily recommend a stay here with families or couples.

Great house

The house is great, with a wonderful yard/garden and great location. We took advantage of the great hot tub and pool, beautifully lit at night, and enjoyed the small courtyard sheltered by a gazebo tucked amidst fruit trees. Downtown La Quinta is less than 10 minutes away. We also made the drive to Joshua Tree, well worth it.

A Desert Oasis!

Casa Agave is a desert oasis ideal for families. Plenty of inside and outside space that allow for everyone to enjoy and not feel crowded. The house and grounds have lots of interesting features that will keep you exploring. Wendy was a gracious host who has thought of, and provided, everything (and I mean everything). So be sure to check out this Desert Oasis when planning your next family get away in the desert!

Charming and comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Agave! It really does have everything you need, including a generous gift basket from the owner Wendy. She was so helpful and provided lots of information regarding area attractions. We basically spent three days in the pool and jacuzzi, bbqing, telling stories around the fire pit and just flat out relaxing. That's what a vacation is all about! Thanks again Wendy!!

Wonderful property

We stayed at Casa Agave for 4 nights over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend and had a wonderful time. The home is exceptional in every way with so many personal touches. One of the best stocked homes we have ever rented. We appreciated the live green plants throughout the home and really loved watching and listening to the hummingbirds while sitting on the front patio. It is a very comfortable and cozy home and we look forward to our next stay.

Wonderful Oasis

We booked Casa Agave as a base to explore local attractions, but after the first day, we realized the property had its own magnetism. We ended up staying 'home' most of the holiday. With a comfortable and beautiful house and yards with plenty of space and privacy, all designed to keep you cool and clean, why go out? We will return to explore more from this secure and reliable base: Casa Agave!

Fantastic place

The place is beautiful and the location great. The house is very well designed. It has many ways to open to the outdoors. The dining area opens to a lovely courtyard with citrus trees. The pool and spa were a highlight for us. Both a perfect temperature and lovely to be in at night with the moon overhead and the backyard lit perfectly. We hiked into the national monument at the end of the road - great way to enjoy a part of the Coachella valley we hadn’t explored. And La Quinta has many great restaurants.

ENJOYED 3 WEEKS OF BLISS IN THE COVE! CASA AGAVE IS THE PERFECT REMEDY FOR RELAXATION & REJUVENATION. THE HOME HAS ALL THE AMENITIES FOR TRANQUILITY & COMFORT; ENJOYED THE HOT TUB & POOL DAILY, THE OUTDOOR FIREPIT IN THE EVENINGS. THE COVE IS PERFECT FOR BIKING, WALKING THE DOGS, HIKING, NEARBY COMMUNITY PARK HAS LOTS OF TENNIS COURTS, TOO! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Desert Oasis

This property is an outdoor living haven. Several separate areas that offer a unique setting, all peaceful, private and lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, spa and many beautiful flowers and succulent plantings. Owner was very accommodating and helpful. Indoor spaces were cozy, and beds very comfortable. Plenty of bath and pool towels, dishes, cookware, spices and condiments. If you can keep an open mind, as this is someone's home and storage is limited, you will most certainly enjoy the experience. We would stay here again!!

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year.. and staying at Casa Agave was the perfect way to welcome 2022!! Wendy's home is beautiful, clean, comfortable and relaxing. Outside pool & spa area was so enjoyable with lots of extra seating & gardens.. plus the backyard has a large fire pit for evening gathering. Thank you Wendy for sharing your home and being a great hostess.. even going the extra mile to send back a shirt my husband forgot! A special "desert oasis" that we would like to return to and recommend for planning your next vacation.

very nice home

Location was excellent, house is very nice! Yard and pool very well kept. Awesome place to entertain or relax. House is ran on propane and is easy to use all of it in a week, we ran out. Had a few issues with heating the hot tub without heating the pool at the same time. The wifi was non-existent. I would recommend this place and would love to go back.

Great private outdoor space for family and entertaining.

House is perfect for entertaining outside. Very private enclosed space. Nice pool/spa and great fire pit area. You could bring a dog and feel secure about its safety. There are two bedrooms and two nicely renovated full baths inside the house and additional bedroom and full bath in separate entrance in back. I prepared a couple large dinners and found all the pots, pans and serving dishes I needed in the well stocked kitchen. Owner has a manager nearby to resolve any questions and needs that come up with the property during your stay.

2020 Staycation

Our rental was awesome! Wendy was so kind, she welcomed us with an ice chest full of goodies to enjoy. She worked with us to checkout at a later time. She was very responsive to my messages. We wanted to stay longer because we were having an amazing time. Stores and restaurants were close. Neighborhood was great. We had a small speaker, didn't play music too loud and got to enjoy our pooltime. I would rent this rental again.

Private Oasis Near Everything!

Very comfortable and beautiful property. It felt very much like a home away from home! Safe neighborhood, but felt even more so being fully enclosed. The pool offered respite from the heat, and the hot tub soothed sore muscles from our adventures! The whole home has a relaxing ambiance. Extra touches, like a welcome gift basket for our 'kids', delicious freshly baked blueberry bread, fresh fruit on the trees, and a well stocked kitchen made us feel quite spoiled. The owner is incredibly organized and communicative. We probably won't ever go to another Stagecoach, but we would love to stay here again for a golf vacation!

Great location

Home is in a great location. House was clean and ready. Wendy was easy to communicate with. Only downside is the home is lived in full time so closets are packed full of belongings. Guests are required to water plants or have the owner come every day to water to them. Pool wasn’t working but I’m sure they will fix it.

Charming home with beautiful outdoor space

This is a rare find. We stayed here for a week to celebrate a big family birthday and take in the tennis tournament at Indian Wells. The house is very comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen, two nice bedrooms in the main house, and a separate unit with two twin beds which provided added privacy for one of our adult children. The outdoors is the highlight—many places to sit and enjoy the pool and spa and lovely plants and landscaping. The host is readily available and very responsive. If you plan to stay for longer than a weekend, ask her to clear some extra space for your clothes and belongings. Definitely recommend this little oasis.

Great time with adult “kids”

We stayed 4 nights at Wendy’s home with 3 of our adult kids when they came to visit us from colder climates. A great location for walking to Old LaQuinta for meals, ice cream, and coffee and hiking in the hills. Lots of time was spent in the awesome yard and pools with the sunny weather we experienced while here. The yard has many locations for sun and shade throughout the day to suit your desires. The fruit trees in the yard were an added bonus to make fresh squeezed lemonade and juices daily. The well stocked kitchen with all the condiments was very helpful. A great family time! Thanks again Wendy for sharing your fabulous home with us!

Peaceful and private

Casa Agave is both elegant and private. We felt like we were staying in our own luxurious resort. The home has such an open feel to it. Pictures can't describe the layout of the house. The house is situated in the center, with the yard surrounding the entire place. We planned to go out a couple of nights, but found ourselves just wanting to stay home and enjoy the peace. The jacuzzi heats up very efficiently. We had warm weather even in February, so we relaxed in the shallow area of the pool. Yet, evenings were cool enough to enjoy the firepit. The surrounding mountains are so lovely. The Casa is located in a great cove, near hiking trails. We were there for an event in Palm Springs which was not too far away. We were also participating in the Great Backyard Birdcount; there are some sweet birds in Casa Agave's yard: Bewick's Wren and the tiny unique songbird called Verdin. OH! and our dog enjoyed the relaxation as well :) Wendy responded quickly and provided great service for our stay. We would love to return.

Won't want to leave!

This home is charming, warm, and inviting. And the grounds? Mom and young adult kids felt like royalty with a gorgeous pool and landscaping in a walled estate! Very private:) With COVID, how awesome to be able to get away for a few days and have no desire to leave. We played games, lived in the pool and watched some really bad movies. (Don't judge!) Wendy literally thought of everything...unbelievable. There was a welcome gift with the goodies for S'mores, snacks, cereal, water, and all sorts of other treats. We're usually fairly good at bringing what we need but if you forget something, she had toiletry baskets, sunscreen, those things you wished you'd thought of (spices!). The kitchen is incredibly well stocked as is the bar with cocktail shakers, lemon/lime squeezers...you name it. We brought our own spirits but if you need to use something, she simply asks that you replace it. (We "needed" a bottle of Pinot Grigio and just asked Wendy to take it out of our deposit...not even sure if she did:) Her kindness though is what really touched us. Three days before our departure our pup had emergency surgery and she offered to let us leave a day early to get home and relieve dad/son from doggy babysitting duties. The get-away was to be the entire family:( So very appreciative that she offered this. One other comment: when looking for properties in the Palm Springs area, be careful to note whether taxes and other fees are included. Many we looked at had a per night price but when you read the fine print, these fees/taxes were nuts...some almost doubled the per night cost. With Casa Agave, Wendy is super straight-forward and essentially everything is included...and it's very well-priced. You're in for a treat...we'll be back!

A true gem of a property

My family of 9 stayed at Casa Agave to celebrate the New Year. We all loved it. The owners did a fabulous job of creating a magical vacation home. The pictures accurately depict what you see and being there is even better. The landscaping design and decorating are all spot on. The effort they put into it is obvious. The home is very welcoming and I loved the warm tones they used to decorate. The home has a great indoor/outdoor feel to it. We often left the doors open on both sides of the house during the day because there is such a great natural flow to the place. We found the home to be well stocked and used the garage to store our groceries. We also used the bikes provided by the owners and road all around town. That was nice. We are not into shopping or nightlife, but that was available. Our favorite place in town was NitroInfusion ice cream shop - it's a must try! They make individual servings to order and freeze it with liquid nitrogen before your eyes. Aside from that, we much preferred the quieter, more natural setting in LaQuinta as opposed to Palm Springs. It was a big bonus that we were so close to hiking trails in the mountains toward the end of LaQuinta Cove. A few things to note, the nice person who greeted us on arrival and showed us the ropes, forgot to tell us how to get hot water to the casita and guest bath. Apparently there is a separate hot water circulator to those areas. Be sure to ask about that. It was only a minor deal as we had another bathroom and were there with 4 kids who didn't care much for showers anyway. The owners were very responsive and available throughout the interaction. When we discovered the heater wasn't working, Wendy went out of her way to find a repair person willing to come out on the morning of NewYear's Eve to fix it. She even offered to let us run the gas fireplace as much as we wanted so we could be comfortable. All in all, we had a great experience and will keep it in mind the next time we get the chance to travel that way. Oh - and our dog was welcome too!

A quiet, La Quinta neighborhood haven

Casa Agave is a charming, one-level home +casita filled with atmosphere! It is not a slick tract house but it has all the amenities…..A/C, well-equipped kitchen, nice indoor spaces and dining area, comfortable beds and wonderful outdoor spaces! It was a little cool for us to swim (and we didn’t pay to heat the pool) but I can imagine how great it would be to hang out there. Lots of seating plus shade. Wendy was very welcoming and great about communicating. As mentioned, the closets and cupboards are loaded with the owner’s things which was surprising but not a problem at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My brother and I bought this as a vacation home and spent three years remodeling and landscaping it. We lived in Palm Springs 30 years ago and loved the area, wanting to be close to golf and tennis. Now that we are in our 60's , this is the perfect spot.

Why they chose this property

Terry liked the Cove and looked at double lots for several years before finding the perfect spot for his vision. The house was gutted down to the studs and required owners willing to create it anew. We wanted to recreate the style and charm of the original Casita but with all the modern conveniences.

What makes this property unique

Originally built in the hay day of the LaQuinta hotel, we wanted to capture that same feeling. We hired Steve Nieto, the architect that designed Old Town and he brought it all together. It has lots of open area and arched doorways, wrought iron work and Spanish tile. The Mission style door is my favorite thing. I painted the mural on the wall facing the garage, to bring some color into the large blank wall.
