A one-of-a-kind contemporary mountain cabin set between Salt Lake and Park City for easy mountain access. Perfect for families and ski groups, the rustic home blends modern updates with original wood, brick, and lodge-style craftsmanship that gives it a warm, cabin-meets-castle feel. The layout is unique and memorable, with multiple levels and circular brick-and-wood staircases.
The Space:
The main floor welcomes you with an open kitchen, dining space, and a warm living room with a rustic wood fireplace. Wood beams, brick accents, and soft lighting make the home feel inviting from the moment you enter.
Downstairs, the second living room offers a relaxed space for movie nights, games, or lounging after a day on the mountain. This level includes a kitchenette and a unique loft bedroom perched above the living area.
Throughout the home you’ll find multiple levels, lofted nooks, and lodge-style stairs that create a charming, castle-cabin character you won’t find anywhere else.
The home offers four full bathrooms, updated appliances, and free WiFi. There are two living rooms for groups to spread out, a furnished deck to enjoy the outdoors, full laundry on site (2 sets), and garage parking for two vehicles.
Guest Access:
You will receive a unique access code for your stay. The front door is up the stairs above the garage, where you can enter the code to get inside. The two-car garage is also available for your use.
The Neighborhood:
The home is located in Summit Park, a quiet mountain community near Woodward Park City, Mountain Dell Golf Course, and Kimball Junction. You’ll be just 30 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City and only minutes from hiking and mountain biking trails within the neighborhood itself.
Perfectly positioned between Salt Lake City and Park City, this location offers unmatched access to world-class ski resorts, scenic drives, fall colors, and year-round outdoor recreation.
It’s a great option for EPIC and ICON pass holders. Canyons Village is under 20 minutes away, and downtown Park City is under 30. With good road conditions, you can reach Solitude, Brighton, Alta, Snowbird, and the Cottonwood Canyon resorts in about 45 minutes. This area is ideal for guests who want easy access to both the city and the mountains without being deep inside resort traffic.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended in Summit Park. The neighborhood is quiet and spread out, and winter weather can make walking difficult. You’ll have access to a two-car garage and driveway parking during your stay. Major ski resorts, grocery stores, and restaurants are all a short drive away. Winter road conditions can be icy and steep, so a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended during snowy months.
Other Things to Note:
This is a true mountain home in Summit Park. As a renovated older cabin, it still has rustic features and mountain-home quirks. Wildlife is common in the area, and snow removal timing can vary during storms.
