This is the closest we’ve gotten to camping and it was a beautiful spot. The composting toilet took getting used to but otherwise we loved it. It’s a hike to the cabin so travel light. We traveled with our senior dog so it was slow going coming back up the hill(we’re seniors too).Full disclosure is we had a comped room at Mohegan so got to clean up there. The outdoor shower was just fine so we enjoyed that too!The host and hostess are lovely and I highly recommend the experience if you want a little adventure.The other two places to stay(octagon and treehouse) are closer to the cars and looked very nice too.
