Small house, just minutes from SHU and Adrian University
The house is very close to nearby Universities so it worked perfect for our weekend visiting our son who is a student at SHU. Also laundry was a big bonus so he could wash some clothes while visiting.
First I want to start with the fact that Adrian isn't a big city, and there are older neighborhoods and this home is located in an older area and I wouldn't say sketchy, I would say its neighbors that stay in the same home for years, and usually they are a tight knit community. So yes I felt safe! The added touches to this rental was awesome. There was microwave popcorn, coffee, cream, sugar, 2 bags of chips, granola bars, 2 bags of oatmeal, water and even the towels made into fans like I was in Jamaica! I did have one thing that needed an adjustment and it was the hot water heater, and I wrote a message and by later that day Gideon came over and turned up the hot water heater. If you prefer to stay in a home and not a hotel, I think you will like the home!
I recognize the property owner has no control over what I am about to say, but it did impact my experience. I'll start by saying the place was in a very convenient location, was very clean and easy to get into and communication with them was quick and easy.
Unfortunately though while I was there I got disturbed after having fallen asleep by pounding on the door by an intoxicated person swearing they were supposed to meet someone at the address. I was staying by myself so this was unsettling. Then early the next morning I was awoken by police pounding on the door trying to located who had placed an open line 911 call. Needless to say at that point I packed it up and left.
I give 5 stars for most categories but my overall stay was not good, again I recognize the owner has no control. He did offer to come check the property when the intoxicated person was there. Which I appreciated.
Great place for a quick stay, the price I thought was reasonable for the property. I was looking for an inexpensive small home, but nice and clean in a decent area.
This worked great for us, only complaint was the dead flies and bugs in the kitchen cabinets because of the lights continuously on, hard to sleep also. But everything else was great.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
This property had air conditioning, cable tv, Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, and laundry. The house was clean and perfect for what we needed. I would recommend staying here over a hotel any day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The house is beautiful and spacious, and in a convenient location.
Myself, My Fiancé and his 2 girl (2 & 3 years old) stayed at this houses for a week. The house is more spacious then it looks in the pictures. If the had any questions it was easy to get in touch with him. We home to Michigan 1-2 times a year to visit family and we will definitely be renting this property in the future.
