The image of the main bedroom definitely showcased the highlight of our stay - the king sized bed. It was comfy, clean, and sturdy. The security door and locks felt secure. The mirror and furniture surfaces were clean and the room was cool upon entry despite high heat outside. Toilet bowl and sink were clean. No visible signs of pests during our stay.The rest of the features seemed a bit worse for wear. There was a huge clump of someone else's matted hair on the lower dresser drawer handle. Nothing that a good sweeping or vacuuming couldn't have handled. The grout around the lip of the tub was black and the wall paint was dirty, marked by unpainted plaster repairs, and soiled areas. The handle was missing from the mini fridge, leaving foam insulation exposed. I didn't look in the microwave.If I had been traveling with children under 7 years old I might have been more reluctant to stay. However, I arrived with my teen to overnight for less than 12 hours and decided that a clean bed and a clean sink for brushing our teeth and washing up would do for the night. We didn't need a fridge or microwave and had just showered that morning so it worked for us in those circumstances.The man who checked me in was perfectly pleasant and competent - even when we pulled in late at night. His kindness was most appreciated by this weary traveler. The first floor room for a one night stay was also appreciated.
