This was my 2nd stay at this beautiful cabin and it never is long enough. Diana is a fantastic and generous host and the property is beautiful year round. This time we were treated to some gorgeous fall foliage. Already looking forward to visiting again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin nestled in the heart of the woods, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking views and the soothing sounds of nature.
The cabin itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with every amenity you could need for a comfortable stay.
Overall, this cabin stay exceeded our anniversary expectations in every way.
Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, this is the ideal spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. We can’t wait to return for another memorable getaway!
A true vacation, stress free as well as fun!
Beautifully built log cabin, pictures posted do not show justice. The host was quick to respond and authentic. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Diane, the host, was wonderful from answering questions before we booked, giving direction guidance due to a detour and during our stay. This home and property is absolutely beautiful and is definitely secluded as the listing said. The bedrooms upstairs do get quite warm, but lowering the thermostat downstairs, closing all curtains in the home, shutting off the second bedroom upstairs and sleeping with the provided fans on made it much better.
We would love to stay again sometime but would probably do so in the fall when a little cooler so we could enjoy the outdoor offerings much more.
If you stay here, you have to go to Rosebud, MO to eat at Ruthie’s. We ate there after we checked out this morning and it was hands down the best meal we had all weekend! My friend and I took a piece of the humongous lemon blueberry cake home and it was amazing!!!
I would definitely recommend this home!
Our stay at the cabin was perfect. It was even more spacious than I expected and very well maintained. We were able to get into relaxation mode immediately as everything was so comfortable and cozy. Furthermore, the owners provided everything we could possibly need during our stay there. The kitchen was easy to cook in (if you desire to do so) and they even had bug spray set out for us on the covered front porch in case we needed it. We enjoyed cooking out on the charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal) and having a camp fire in the evenings (they provided the wood) as well as paddling around the lake and taking in the surrounding beauty. Everything was clean and the beds oh so comfortable. I'll definitely be back!
We adored the property and the cabin. So much charm and unique touches that made it all special. We communicated issues with the owner and received quick communication back. The firepit and fishing lake were our favorites!
Nice cabin tucked away. Wanted kids to have a log cabin experience. Property was nice. Enjoyed the front porch and being able to watch boys fish from it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved having a fire in the evening, and my girls enjoyed paddling around in the small boat and walking the short trails. The grounds were well cared for, and the cabin was neat and tidy. Lots of inspiration to build our own cabin someday!
This cabin was perfect for the 4 of us! We all got away this weekend for an adult only trip and we had a blast! The cabin was perfectly clean! The fireplace is very nice to listen to while relaxing, after walking all over Hermann! We will definitely be coming back again! Diana and Drew made this place so lovely and our stay was the best! Can't wait to come back!
As usual, this property is perfect and ideal for our annual Hermann visit. Property owners upgraded the bathroom this year...lovely!
