About the host
Hosted by Laurent Sagarra
La truffe Rose is our dream come true. The old farm was fully renovated in 2024 to offer guests all the amenities they wish to spend a great time in this heaven located on a 2,2 hectares truffle farm surrounded by amazing countryside. Relax, enjoy the pool, pick fruits in the yard and enjoy great local markets, food and wine.
Why they chose this property
We chose this part of Southwest France because it offers something increasingly rare: space, silence, and authenticity.
Here, days are shaped by nature rather than schedules. The landscape is open and peaceful, dotted with orchards, vineyards, and stone villages where life still moves at a human pace. Local markets, family-run restaurants, and seasonal traditions — from summer evenings outdoors to winter truffle gatherings — create a strong sense of place and belonging.
What we enjoy most is the balance: total calm at the house, yet easy access to vibrant markets, historic towns, and regional gastronomy. You can spend the morning in complete solitude, and the afternoon exploring, tasting, and discovering — then return home to sunsets, quiet nights, and star-filled skies.
It’s a place that invites you to slow down, reconnect, and truly experience the French art de vivre.

What makes this property unique
La Truffe Rose is not a holiday rental designed to impress — it’s a home designed to be lived in.
The house combines the soul of an old stone farmhouse with carefully curated comfort: generous spaces, natural materials, and a calm, understated elegance that feels both authentic and effortless. Every detail has been chosen to create warmth, ease, and a sense of flow — indoors and outdoors.
What truly sets it apart is the feeling of privacy and immersion. Surrounded by open countryside, with no visual noise or crowds, the property offers uninterrupted views, deep quiet, and a rare sense of freedom. The heated pool, orchard, terraces, and sunsets become part of daily life rather than amenities to be used once.
Guests often tell us that what stays with them most is not a single feature, but the atmosphere: the way time slows, conversations last longer, and the house quietly becomes the backdrop for meaningful moments.
