The Elchegg is located at 1,125 m in the Oberallgäu in the small district of Brosis-Ellegg and belongs to the municipality of Rettenberg.

The apartments are very sunny on the south-east and south-west side of the hillside and not only impress with their idyllic tranquility but also with a unique mountain panorama. A pure power place directly at the Hühnermoos flora-fauna habitat (nature reserve), which invites you to wonderful walks.

The Elchegg Panorama Loft was completely renovated in autumn 2019 and will be rented for the first time on Christmas 2019.

It extends to approximately 220 m², offers two living rooms with fireplace, three bedrooms, a bathroom with tub, a bathroom with shower and a guest toilet, as well as 3 balconies and a roof terrace, as well as an infrared sauna.

All rooms are equipped with underfloor heating. The floors are completely covered with a wooden package made of Canadian walnut and the walls are plastered with lime for a balanced indoor climate.

Of course, free WiFi is available in all rooms (30,000 line) with unlimited data volume.

Capricorn living / dining room:

The 29 m² living room with a large log fireplace with a window is the heart of the panorama loft. In addition, another 30 KW wood stove can be used for heating. To the southeast, large panorama windows are installed, which allow an undisturbed view of the mountains.

A dining table (2.00 x 1.00 m) made of antique ship steak wood with 8 seats on a sheep wool carpet invites you to a cozy meal.

A cozy living area with an ottoman offers enough space to enjoy the view from the panorama window and listen to music via the stereo system (Bose Sound System) with radio, CD player.

Several exits lead to the large, south-east roofed larch balcony with morning and midday sun. The balcony is equipped with a lounge area, a beanbag and pallet furniture with upholstery, an infrared sauna and a 60 m² non-accessible roof terrace with garden herbs, which not only delight the heart with their fragrance, their flowers and hard-working bees, but of course also for barbecuing and cooking may be used.


Kitchen:

The modern 21 m² kitchen has a spacious kitchen island with Blue Pearl granite worktops. It has two gas hobs, two electric hobs, and two hot plates, an oven, a fridge and freezer, a fully automatic coffee machine with coffee beans for refilling, and a new Miele dishwasher. The kitchen offers enough space to cook together and has a wild oak bar with 2 bar stools. Basic cooking equipment, incl. Here is a cozy living area on a sheep's wool rug, with integrated sleeping function and adjustable arm and backrests, as well as a 55-inch LED UltraHD Smart TV with Netflix access. You will also find a desk and a small library in the glass cabinet.

From up here there is access to another balcony, which is oriented to the southwest.


Panorama Bedrooms:

In this bedroom she kisses the morning sun awake in bed. The 17 m² bedroom with a rustic 2.00 x 2.00 m solid wood beam bed (knotty oak oiled) has adjustable slatted frames. A stone pine ceiling has a positive impact on physical and mental well-being, since the heart rate is reduced, which improves sleep quality. A 50-inch LED UltraHD Smart TV is also available. Blackout curtains offer the possibility to darken the room and sleep better.
In the walk-in closet (4 m²) all things can be stored in a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.

The panoramic bedroom has direct access to a blue pearl granite bathroom with a spacious 2-person bathtub. The bathtub is in front of a completely glazed panoramic window, due to the secluded location of the Elchegg no curtains are necessary, the bathroom cannot be viewed, so a relaxed bath with a view of the beautiful panoramic landscape is possible. The wall by the bed is insulated with a natural sheep wool rug. Direct access to the second balcony with midday and evening sun is possible from the room. A 32-inch Smart TV is also available. Blackout curtains enable a better sleep.

The moose bedroom has direct access to a white marble bathroom with toilet, sink and spacious shower.

Direct access to the second larch wood balcony with midday and evening sun is possible from the room.


Drying room / storage room / laundry room:

This 9 m² room is equipped with shelves for clothes and shoes, a cloakroom and a shoe heater with space for 6 pairs of shoes to dry ski and normal shoes. You will also find a washing machine (detergent is available) and a clothes horse.


Extra sleeping places:

As offered, up to 9 guests can sleep with us on request. On the one hand, the TV gallery offers a living area with a sleeping function. Another small 6 m² gallery can be reached via a steep staircase via the drying room. Thanks to the large roof window, you have a nice bright room here. Here is another pull-out daybed, each with a 1.00 x 2.00 m mattress on top and a pull-out 0.90 x 2.00 m mattress below.

Infrared sauna: Pamper your body with a relaxing bio sauna session!

A special highlight in the Panorama Loft is our infrared sauna on the balcony with a view of the panoramic landscape.

The infrared sauna with full spectrum emitters from Home Deluxe is a 2-time test winner and suitable for 2 people. With your bio sauna, you can not only enjoy the view, but also listen to your own music on the radio with MP3, SD card, USB and 3.5mm jack.

We offer toddler equipment for the little ones. We provide the following: 4 travel cots plus mattresses, 2 high chairs, dishes and of course games (in the coffee table on the gallery).

Check in:

We ourselves will not be present when you arrive. Access to the apartment is via a numeric code lock on the front door. The keys to the apartment are then in the loft itself. You will receive the number code for the lock a few days before arrival with a manual for the most important information.
