Private Cabin: Fire Pit, Hot Tub Mountain View’s, Farm Charm
Set on 30 private acres in the rolling Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania, our charming one-story log cabin offers a peaceful retreat where rustic charm meets modern luxury and comfort. Located just minutes off I-81, the cabin feels wonderfully secluded while remaining close to shopping, dining, outdoor adventure, and regional attractions—making it an ideal destination for couples, families, or groups of friends traveling together.
From the moment you arrive, the pace slows. Surrounded by open land, woods, and expansive mountain skies, this is a place to reconnect—whether you’re sharing quiet moments with a loved one, making memories with family, or enjoying a relaxing escape with friends. Mornings begin with coffee and fresh mountain air, while evenings are best spent gathered around the firepit, in the hot tub, laughing, talking, and stargazing.
Guests enjoy full private access to the entire cabin and surrounding outdoor spaces. Inside the cabin blends warm log construction with thoughtfully curated modern amenities designed to elevate your stay. The fully stocked kitchen, inviting dining area, and comfortable living room make it easy to cook together, share meals, play games, or unwind after a full day of activities. Every detail is designed to feel cozy, convenient, and effortlessly comfortable—offering the charm of a log cabin with the ease of contemporary living.
Step outside and enjoy outdoor seating and a firepit, perfect for peaceful evenings under the stars. One of the most memorable features of the property is the presence of our friendly farm animals—guests are welcome to spend time with our goats, chickens, and ducks, an experience loved by both children and adults. For added fun and convenience, guests may also enjoy optional access to an electric golf cart for leisurely rides around the property (availability upon request).
Outdoor adventure is always close. Elk Mountain Ski Resort is just minutes away for skiing and snowboarding in the winter, while Montage Mountain—about 30 miles away—offers snow tubing in the colder months and a popular water park during summer. The NEPA Rail-Trail system provides scenic paths for walking and biking, and fall brings unforgettable foliage, festivals, and seasonal traditions.
Autumn is especially special in this region. Guests can enjoy Elk Mountain’s Fall Fest and Oktoberfest, visit nearby orchards and farms, or attend the beloved Harford Fair, one of Pennsylvania’s oldest and most cherished agricultural fairs, featuring rides, local food, exhibits, and classic fairground fun.
For shopping, dining, and everyday conveniences, the cabin is located near Dickson City, home to shopping centers, a mall, and many popular chain restaurants. Upscale shopping and dining can be found at the Shoppes at Montage, while nearby Scranton offers a rich mix of history and entertainment, including museums, historic attractions, and live events. Sports fans can catch a game at PNC Field, home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
Food lovers won’t want to miss Bingham’s Family Restaurant, just two minutes away and voted Best Roadside Diner in 2025, or make the approximately 30-minute drive to Cooper’s Seafood House, a favorite destination for fans of The Office.
The cabin also makes an excellent home base for a short drive to the Pocono Mountains, including a fun-filled day trip to Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, one of the country’s largest indoor water parks—perfect for families and groups year-round.
Whether you’re planning a romantic escape, a family vacation, a ski weekend, or a relaxing getaway with friends, this log cabin offers a rare blend of privacy, charm, and modern luxury. Peaceful yet well-connected, it’s a place where everyone feels welcome—and where unforgettable memories are made.
