Welcome to the Martin House – Historic Charm & Downtown Convenience!

Enjoy a charming stay in this spacious two-bedroom, one-bathroom upper-floor apartment in a beautiful 1918 Frame Vernacular-style home. Named after Emanuel Martin, an early Marion County resident, the Martin House offers a unique blend of historic character, comfortable living, and modern conveniences.

Located within walking distance of downtown Ocala, you’ll be close to local restaurants, bars, shops, and entertainment while enjoying a relaxing place to unwind.

Your Private Space

This approximately 1,000-square-foot apartment features its own private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining bar, and a comfortable living room with a sofa and Smart TV. Both bedrooms offer queen-size beds, closets, ceiling fans, Smart TVs, and extra pillows and blankets. The private bathroom includes a shower/tub combination, fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker, and everyday essentials. A stackable washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience. Welcome treats help you settle in and start your morning.

Relax Outdoors

Enjoy your morning coffee on the front deck with two rocking chairs. Guests also share access to the backyard and pool area with the other suites, including a large swimming pool, outdoor dining table, gas grill, lounge chairs, pool floats, and an outdoor gas fire pit. Two shared bicycles are available for exploring the area.

Our second time back in 2 years celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and it was a lovely stay. A little too cold to enjoy the pool. But we enjoyed the ability to cook and enjoy quality time together.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean well maintained. The only criticism that I may have is that there was no bicycle pumps for the bicycles. And the tires were flat. We were hoping to take a bike ride. But that’s OK. We walked instead and the neighborhood was absolutely gorgeous.
