5 star right around the corner from fast food and convenience stores and the highway if you just need to get up and go more spacious then i thought when i seen the house but overall nice stay

This vrbo is in a terrible location. The add is incredibly misleading, yes it looks brand new but then when you drive there all the homes in the area have bars on the doors and windows, it's the only house without a gate. It's literally one nice house in the middle of a horrible neighbourhood. The demographic in the area is not safe for visitors. Our uber driver refused to drop us off at the vrbo as he could not in good faith leave us there. He straight up let us know it wasn't safe and he couldn't leave us there. We had a car rental as well coming with our other two guests and he said it would most likely get broken into or stolen. He also let us know that if we stayed there it was not safe to be outside, or leave any valuables in the unit. This was coming from a man who has lived in Houston his whole life. Due to the safety concerns we did not stay there and vrbo and the host have yet to do anything. The add says great location 10/10 with perfect photos. That is not reality and it could not get any more misleading. We are extremely disappointed that that was our first ever vrbo experience and will not be booking with them again.
