Stay at our cozy cottage on 6 mile Opinicon Lake!

Enjoy the great fishing, boating, and swimming from this private setting on the Rideau Canal. Gaze at the stars at night as you sit around the campfire, or take a leisurely row around the many islands or through the canal to the historic lock-stations in one of the boats provided from your private cottage. The cottage comes with two kayaks and an aluminum fishing boat with oars and life jackets provided.

Opinicon Lake has always been famous for it's crystal clear water, it's bass and northern pike fishing, it's water-sports and wildlife watching. This cottage is located on a private road with 1.5 acres and has its own dock. There is good swimming from the rocky point, right on the property!

The Rideau Lakes Region is a great place to explore. You can take advantage of the great fishing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, or lock through the historic canal system to the other attached lakes and towns. In the surrounding towns and cities, there are also lots of activities, and events to participate in including, golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping restaurants, events and lots more!

For the prime summer weeks, this cottage rents from Saturday to Saturday.

The cottage: Master bedroom has a queen bed, bedroom #2 has a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on top and the living room has a double pull-out sofa-bed. There is one full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. It has a full kitchen plus a dining table that seats 6. Wifi is included!
