About this property

Snowbird Home Away from Home

This is a lovely family home, very clean and comfortable. There are three bedrooms master bedroom is on right side of home and guest bedrooms are on the left side. Master bedroom has a queen size bed two dressers, night stand, TV, two walk-in closets, and a private full bathroom. It also has sliding doors to the lanai. This is a large lanai with three entrances one from living room, one from family/dinning room, and one from Master bedroom. Guest bedroom has queen size bed dresser night stand and walk-in closet. Second guest bedroom has two twin beds and walk-in closet. Fully furnished with all possible amenities including: nice furniture, garage, washer, dryer, dishwasher, two kayaks,lanai, two queen size beds, two twin beds, large closets, television, WIFI, smart tv’s with access to live channels, also antenna service, central air, dishes, towels, sheets, ect.... We have furnished our Florida home to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I take pride in providing a clean inviting environment for my guests. We live in a quiet friendly neighborhood and yet just minutes from beaches, shopping, dining, dancing, and fun.
We have parks with trails within walking distance. Charlotte Harbor Park are less than five miles. Harbor Park offers tennis, pickleball courts, picnic areas, beaches, fishing, boating, swimming pool, and a boat ramp, 1.5 miles from house. Kiwanis park just down the block has beautiful canopied trails for walking and biking. It is very lovely and I personally like to go there. The mall is 3 miles from our home. There are a multitude of restaurants and shopping with in minutes. I have high speed internet through TMobile. We don’t have a fenced in yard. I do own the lot adjacent to the house. Cancellations may result in the loss of some or all funds from the renter. Reserving my home in advance prohibits other possible renters from viewing and renting my home.
We welcome long-term renters ( over 6 months) and we will discount rate considerably.

HOTTEST DECEMBER ON RECORD

The AC worked excellent. A good thing since it was the hottest Dec on record in Port Charlotte for the past 39 years! Made our stay very tolerable. The house is large and has all amenities as listed. Making it great for when it's better to stay inside away from the high temps. I would recommend.

Perfect stay for a retired couple

Emily was a wonderful, responsive host, ready to help and willing to accommodate our needs and requests. Her home is large with a layout that is practical, pleasing, and very attractive. The master bedroom and bath are entirely separate and distant from the other bedrooms. The large lanai and extra large, shaded lot were enjoyable--real pluses. Everything you need is there, including a well-equipped garage with lots of practical and recreational items. Having a garage to keep our car out of the hot Florida sun is a major attraction for us. The neighborhood is quiet, with so many stores and restaurants--and Charlotte Harbor beach--just a short drive away. We'll happily be coming back next year!

Quiet neighborhood

Wonderful location, good walking neighborhood. Great for dog walking. House has everything you would ever need. Dishes, towels, linens. Bike, kayaks. We really enjoyed the whole months stay. Owner responds quickly. Keep your car out of the heat with the garage. Back lanai has comfortable chairs , table, and overhead fan. Internet is strong and good.

Excellent responsiveness from homeowner!

Our accommodations were roomy, clean and convenient to nature preserves and kayaking opportunities. We were very impressed with the responsiveness of the homeowner, Emily, whenever we had a question. She was particularly kind in offering us an extended stay in light of all the issues surrounding the pandemic. We declined the offer, but appreciated her kindness immensely.

Quiet and Peaceful

We enjoyed our month stay in your home. It had all the conveniences one would need. We really enjoyed the shaded lanai, watching the squirrels, and very quiet and safe neighborhood. Very convenient to the all the major roads for beaches, shopping, fishing, and many restaurants. We had planned on booking again for the following year, but unfortunately someone got to it before we did.

Stayed here from 5/4 yp 6.7/25 and could not be happier! Emily is very accommodating and there is an extra lot to enjoy with gorgeous oaks!! My favorite place was the lanai! So peaceful and enjoyed all the birds & butterflies:). I would highly recommend this one!! Quiet neighborhood, but close to everything!
