Perfect for year-round adventure: ski, hike, bike, swim, kayak, paddle board, then relax beachside or fireside.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Heat settings: Ensure the fireplace and portable heaters are off. Set the Nest thermostat temperature to 55°.
Leave garage remotes: Return both garage clickers to the key hooks in the mud/laundry room area.
Trash must be securely bagged and placed in the outdoor bear box. Trash is collected on Wednesdays: Park vehicles with at least 3 feet of clearance around the bear box to ensure pickup access.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Just had the best getaway in Tahoe at this beautiful Sugarlodge. It’s absolutely perfect for kids and dogs, or for a reunion with your best friends. It easily sleeps everyone in beautiful rooms with beyond comfortable beds. My best friend and I had the most wonderful time dancing, laughing, and enjoying the backyard and patio. It has a fully stocked kitchen of supplies—and also the lodge is close to yummy restaurants, delis, and the grocery store.Also, I didn’t realize how close it is to the famous Emerald Bay. And it’s even more breathtaking in person. We did hiking, rented e-bikes, walked along the lake, and enjoyed a night at a spa. Truly a perfect getaway in the most perfect "home away from home." The hosts were amazing as they were responsive and attentive.Loved my stay here at the Sugarlodge, and I’ve already rebooked my next stay in the summer because I can’t wait to come back. The lodge is decorated with beautiful, curated art, with comfy furniture and seating for everyone. We plan to come back here often to enjoy more adventures and create more lifelong memories with my family and dear friends.
