With two workspaces, a cozy living room, and thoughtful touches throughout, this bright, peaceful unit is made for cozy days and quiet winter nights.

Welcome to The Garden View, your playful, peaceful winter nook inspired by my mum’s homey warmth and my pops’ effortless charm. This cozy one-bedroom retreat sits just a half-flight up from street level and is wrapped in soft winter touches—sunny sheers that brighten even the grayest days, warm lighting, and inviting spaces perfect for slowing down.
Inside, you’ll find everything you need for the classic winter cozy-up:
• A sunny kitchen for morning tea, coffee or cocoa
• A charming living room perfect for movie nights with a bowl of popcorn (mum’s favorite)
• A dining area ready for board games or cocktails (pops would approve)
• Multiple workspaces for remote work, journaling, or quiet creative time
• A full bathroom with an original clawfoot tub ideal for warming up after a chilly day

I’ve restored the Wheeler Street Victorian over nearly three decades, and The Garden View holds a special softness—a blend of nostalgia, creativity, comfort, and the traditions I grew up with. My hope is that this winter nook feels like a place where you can rest, play, reset, and truly feel at home.

Guest access
Located at 374 Wheeler Street N, Saint Paul, the Wheeler Street Victorian was built in 1911 and lovingly restored for modern comfort. Each apartment offers:
• 1 Bedroom | 1 Bath | Dining Room | Living Room | Full Kitchen | Private Covered Deck

Shared amenities include:
Fenced yard with patio, bonfire, gas grill, dining area, and lights
Gym with TRX, Total Gym, BOSU, mats, weights (1–25 lbs), and yoga gear
Laundry with all-natural products, steamer, and ironing setup
Secure Uloq entry with code access
Other things to note
Bringing a Dog (No Cats- due to allergies!)
Well-behaved dogs are welcome with prior approval- please make sure to send in the size of your dog and experience with being in an apartment setting. Without the agreement, your reservation may be forfeited!

Once approved, I will provide the appropriate size bed, bowls and towels to ensure your stay is great! The neighborhood is close to walking trails, both urban, parks and river walks as well as a large fenced in back yard.

Baby, Child, Children, Teens as Guests
Welcome to all!
• If you're traveling with a baby, let me know in advance — I can provide a pack and play fully outfitted with mattress and sheets, shelf for baby supplies, and a diaper genie. However, these are limited, so be sure to reserve yours right away!
• For others, let me know the age of your child/ren so I can tailor the setup, and let you choose the best option!

Extra Guest on Sofa
Each unit offers a sofa converting into a small (shorter) full size bed, please let me know if you need the set up for this, and if you would prefer it to be ready upon your arrival. This unit has an 8" memory foam floor mat (Full) or a Twin floor mat if that is preferred. Please inquire when you reserve!

If your reservation includes anything outside the usual two-person stay—such as an additional guest, a pet, or unique sleeping arrangements—I will reach out to learn more. This helps me prepare the space perfectly for you, whether that means setting up one or more pack-n-plays or a sofa fold out or floor mattress.

When booking, please let me know details such as:
• “Two guests, but we prefer separate beds.”
• “Two adults, with our grown child staying one night.”
• “Three guests” (my partner, our grown child who is 6' tall, or Grampa who is 5' tall, and needs extra cushioning if possible!)

The more I know, the better I can prepare the home to meet your needs.
