Welcome to this stylishly furnished vacation home, located right by the seashore in Mosterhamn. On the large terrace you can enjoy the long, bright summer days and the view of pretty nature and archipelago. Between the cottage and the neighboring house there is a retractable windbreak, which makes the terrace quite sheltered from view. Right in front of the cottage you will find great swimming conditions along with sandy bottom. You may also be lucky with fishing; there are several good fishing spots not far from the cottage. After about 15 km you can rent a boat if you want to explore the area by sea. Just a stone's throw away is the Grindheimsmarka nature reserve with an 11.7 km marked hiking trail. Also recommended is the Siggjo mountain peak, which has served as a landmark for seafarers for quite some time and offers a magnificent view over the sea and the adjoining fjords. Just a short drive away is historic Mosterhamn from the Viking Age with Moster Old Church from 995 and Moster Amfi, where the medieval play Mostraspelet is performed. The fantastic island kingdom of Bømlo is cut through by the two canals Kuleseidkanalen and Røyksundkanalen, which served fishing in the 19th century. The gold mines in Lykling and Espevær are also worth seeing. After a short drive you will reach the small town of Stord with stores, cafes and restaurants. We also recommend a day trip to the cities of Haugesund and Bergen.
