Looking for a cabin that would give you wonderful memories for you and your family? A Walk in the clouds is the cabin for you.This cabin is newly built and it is located only minutes away from Dollywood theme park and Splash Country. It has the most beautiful mountain views. This cabin is three story high featuring the following amenities, private hot tub, jacuzzi tub, wi-fi, cable and movie channels for every TV, 55 inch flat screen television for every room, full kitchen, and most all it features a full level gameroom with a 70 inch TV, pool table, Air Hockey table, Shuffleboard, card table, a galaga/ pacman game, various boardgames and let's not forget the little train engineers and little chefs too! This gameroom also has a Thomas the train table and a Melissa and Doug kitchen set. We equipped this gameroom with family fun in mind.
A walk in the clouds is a family owned cabin. This cabin also features a master suite with a king size bed and as you wake up in the morning you will be greeted with the mountain view right in your bed, and to top it off, this suite has a very large master bath with walk in tiled shower equipped with a rain head shower and a large jacuzzi tub. And if you feel for a little competition this suite has a chess table just for you. The second bedroom has a custom queen size bed with a walk in tiled shower. The leather couch also transform into a queen size bed for extra sleeping arrangement.
Relax in the living room with a 65 inch tv, leather couch and chair and a stack stone gas fireplace. Enjoy the mountain views from any level of this cabin. You can also sit and relax outside in the deck and simply enjoy the peaceful view.
This cabin is located near the city of Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National park. It is also within minutes to shopping and dining areas in Pigeon Forge.
Whether you are looking for a family cabin or just a mountain getaway, A walk in the clouds is the perfect cabin for you.
This cabin is a brand new cabin our other cabin sadly to say was lost in the Gatlinburg fires . We had the most amazing trip and the cabin was perfect. We have stayed in this cabin every fall for the past 4-5 years and will continue to come back. The owners are amazing, the property is very clean, and the entire process is smooth. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Highly recommend! We even saw a couple bears behind the cabin. It was such a wonderful trip!

Cabin was clean and spacious. The only item missing was laundry detergent. We thought it was weird to have laundry facilities but no detergent…. I would imagine most do not travel with laundry detergent. We really enjoyed our vacation and can’t wait to come back!!

A walk in the clouds for sure

Our stay in this cabin was great. Everything was as described. Check in/out was easy and communication was straightforward. The best parts for my family were the views from the windows and decks and the game room for my children. Would love to stay here again.

This property had a beautiful view for starters. It overall was a decent cabin. The kids loved the big tub. If you enjoy sleeping and want darkness this cabin probably isnt a good match. I didnt realize the upstairs windows had no blinds or shades whatsoever so everyone was up extremely early because of all the light. So it made for extremely long days with kids. The next issue is downstairs basement where the kids are able to play. The only seating is a table with 4 tall chairs that could easily turn over with smaller kids. No couch no bed nothing else down there which ive never encountered before. The air hockey was also broken upon arrival so we just didnt go down there much which was a big bummer for our family. The swimming pool was small for the amount of people that was there. It had alot of hair in it and wasnt the cleanest we only did 30 minutes in it the entire time because we felt all smashed together.

Lovely Cabin, caution for little kids

We had a nice stay! Very clean and cozy cabin. Game room was a big hit w the kids. Being from out of state- where there are no mountains- I did not realize the roads to get to the cabin would be as steep as they are. Since the cabin is built directly on the side of a mountain, there is no outdoor space besides the decks. The decks were awesome but I was very nervous w my kids. Just a word of caution for those fearful of heights. It’s a mountain! The views- sunrise and sunset - were stunning and nothing like you get to see anywhere. The accommodations were nice, beds comfortable and kitchen had what you need to make meals. there was still a fair amount of Christmas decor up in the cabin in July, which was unusual but the cabin was clean and not cluttered. Overall we had a good stay in a beautiful location.

Great place to stay for families!

We headed down to Tennessee for a fall break vacation. It was the first time our 2 and a half year old had been to anything but a hotel. This listing provided us with everything we needed, including a game room that was a huge hit. We had everything we needed for our short stay and the views were as advertised. Would highly recommend this place for small families like ours!

Beautiful cabin

My toddler loved to play in the toy kitchen and we all loved the entire gorgeous cabin and the views. The cabin was beautiful inside and out, kitchen had everything we needed to take care of the meals we ate at the cabin. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loved Our Stay!! - Spectacular View :)

My family and I really enjoyed our week staying at “A Walk in The Clouds” during our first trip to the Smokies. The view was spectacular and the cabin was well maintained and had everything we needed to relax and create life long family memories. The location was conveniently located for easy access to Dollywood and days hiking in the National Park. Highly recommend this cabin and will consider for future stays.

The cabin was clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed and then some. The game room was amazing, as are the views. The property manager was very friendly and the check-in process was super simple. We will be back!

Nice place, had a issue getting ac to work the first night, airfilter was flapping inside the return and making a noise so we wedged something between the air filter and the cover. Master shower needs a good cleaning around the bottom, other than that nice place!

Wonderful Stay

We had a beautiful time with the family creating memories. The game room was awesome. Thomas the train set and the kitchen was a big hit for the 2 yr old. The girls ages 6 and 9 and adults played all the games especially air hockey and shuffleboard. I loved the arcade. Will definitely book again.

Amazing stay

A Walk in the Clouds exceeded our expectations. With two young kids, the cabin amenities kept them busy. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. We even got to watch the Dollywood firework show each night. The whole mountain lost Internet connection for two days but that was no problem because of the activities and games provided by Walk in the Clouds. This cabin is perfect for a family of 4-6.

Exactly what we wanted!

Beautiful, inside and out (the view was spectacular!) We loved our time here :) also, super close to pigeon forge, and about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg. If you come in winter… I’d really suggest a 4 wheel drive vehicle since you’re climbing for about 10 minutes up the mountain. A nice feature I missed with the listing was the window in the master bath - it allows you to see the mountains from the bathroom from the massive windows on back.

Beautiful sunset view!

We loved the location, it’s high enough you don’t have a lot of traffic coming & going from other properties. The decor is beautiful! The game room was fantastic! There are 3 deck levels for viewing the beautiful mountain sunsets! Kitchen is stocked with every you need, even coffee & creamer! 2 coffee pots so you can use pods (which they also provide) or the pot which can also be used for hot water or tea. The communication was great with the hosts! We’d definitely go back. Things to be aware of in case it matters: while in the hot tub there’s not much of a view, it’s on the deck facing the mountains & sunset, but there is a partial wall blocking the view. If you’re in it after sunset, that won’t make a difference. The bed is very comfortable, but If you don’t like feather pillows, bring your own pillow. The dryer is very loud so plan on drying clothes when noise won’t be a factor. So things to be aware of but nothing that isn’t easy to work around. They have everything for couples of families. We really enjoyed our trip.

Great Cabin for Family

We really enjoyed our stay. The cleaners had left some stuff out but the manager had them swing by to grab it (which wasn’t necessary). The cabin has a fantastic game room. Our sons really enjoyed it. There is also an enclosed porch connected to the playroom so mom and dad can sit there while the kids play and not worry about younger kids running off the porch. The cabin was clean. The interior stairs needed to be mopped but wasn’t an issue for us. The owner had a cleaner come half way through our stay which was nice. Beds were comfortable and the boys really enjoyed the huge bath in the master bathroom. FANTASTIC VIEW and you can see the top of the Dollywood Fireworks. The drive up to the cabin has some tight turns but isn’t too hard to handle. We have stayed at other cabins with much more difficult driving.

Nice cabin with great views

Very nice cabin on top of the mountain. Great views although you can see numerous other cabins in the area. The ride up the mountain is tricky. The cabin itself is very nice. The master bedroom is a loft and waking up to the view is spectacular. Neither bedroom has a dresser so we lived out of a suitcase for the week. It’s 3 floors so there is a little up and down stairs. You enter into the second level where the kitchen/dining room and living room are. 2nd bedroom off the living room. Bottom level is the rec room. We played pool and air hockey almost every night. Nice big TVs in all rooms. 3 decks. Be careful. The kitchen door uses a code and it automatically locks after about a minute. Make sure to remember the code if you go out to your car. The washer/dryer combo is small and very noisy. Very good communication with the host. Overall I would recommend. Pigeon Forge is a great place to visit.

Absolutely Magical

Wow. It’s been quite a few years since I’ve been on a vacation so I wanted to find the perfect cabin for my family and oh my this is IT!! I agree with another reviewer in that I’m almost hesitant to share how great this place is because that means others will book and may not be available lol! Everything others have said and the listing description is on point. The views, the immaculate condition of the cabin, the thoughtful extras like laundry baskets, the perfectly comfortable beds… I can go on and on. The hosts are truly that word - hosts. I felt like their special guest and while we didn’t have any issues, I feel confident they would be responsive. The best feature? THE PLAYROOM!! As a mother of a 2 year old, it is … challenging… to keep them occupied. The train set was a total godsend and allowed my husband and I to relax and gave my son hours of entertainment. Yeah yeah, the drive up is no joke but hey you gotta work for the good things in life! :-) Best week ever and I’m just so thankful to have found the truly best cabin ever!!

Fabulous views!

We loved this property and would stay there again. We used the game room and hot tub daily. Everything was neat and clean. The only negative we had about the cabin itself was the temperature of the upstairs master bedroom. Because it is so open and on the third floor, we were hot at night. I would imagine this could be an issue in the summer when it gets hotter outside. Adding a floor fan of some kind would be useful. As others have mentioned, the road up to the cabin is very winding; it was not fun the night it was raining hard and very foggy. Stressful drive. Also, it takes long enough to get up there that it is not convenient to go back-and-forth into town often. The only other thing to be aware of is that the neighboring cabins are very close. It was not a problem until our last night there. One of the cabins occupants decided to party on the balcony and in the hot tub until 2:30 in the morning and unfortunately, the noise traveled very clearly to our bedroom. Had we been staying longer, I would have gone over there the next day and addressed that with them. I am only pointing out these things so that future renters will be aware. However, we loved our stay overall and would absolutely not hesitate to stay there again. It truly is a fabulous cabin.

Beautiful house with great views. Really enjoyed our 3 nights here. Had breakfast and dinner on the deck every day and even saw a bear come up through the woods right up to the back of house one morning and then saw him again that same night. Felt like a kid again playing PAC Man, air hockey and shuffle board in the game room. Highly recommend this cabin. Owner was extremely easy to deal with.

We purchased this cabin because we feel in love with the view. It's a good escape for us when we want to relax and enjoy the mountains. The location was also a factor since its very close to dollywood and splash country and we visit those theme parks very often. It is close to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg
