Warning: If you’re looking for privacy, this isn’t the place for you.I booked this house for a trip with my friends. When we arrived and parked, we found out that this is not an entire house like the listing states. Instead, you’re staying in the basement of another rental. We could hear the guests upstairs running around, talking, and partying throughout the night.Additionally, when you step outside, the owner appears to live, or at least stay, in a camper less than 20 feet from the entrance.If you don’t mind sharing the house with another group and having the owner just a stone’s throw away, then this place may be fine for you.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry the property wasn’t the right fit for your group. I’d like to clarify one important point for future guests. The listing is not presented as a private, standalone home. In fact, the very first words of the listing are “This is Downstairs Only,” and the description clearly explains that this is a private lower-level apartment with its own entrance, while the upstairs is a separate vacation rental. We encourage all guests to read the listing details carefully so they know exactly what they’re reserving. As for the RV on the property, I occasionally stay there while maintaining and caring for the property, but I respect my guests’ privacy and do not interact with them unless they need assistance. I’m sorry you experienced noise from the upstairs guests. While we strive to provide a peaceful stay, noise between separate units can occasionally occur, and we continue to look for ways to improve sound insulation. Had you informed me I would have spoken with the upstairs guests and had it taken care of. We appreciate your stay and your feedback, as it helps future guests determine whether our property is the right fit for their needs.
