The "Staffelhuus" is located right next to the "Rigi-Staffelhöhe" train station (50 m). Its location and orientation on the property ensure maximum privacy. The Rigi is car-free and accessible only by cogwheel train or aerial tramway! This spacious 5.5-room apartment spans three floors and features 4 bedrooms, as well as a spacious living and dining room with a fantastic Alpine panorama. The large windows provide excellent views and sunlight throughout the day. After sunset, it’s the perfect spot to relax in front of the large fireplace with exposed stonework. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, capsule coffee machine, oven, and glass-ceramic cooktop). A shared washing machine and drying room are also available for emergencies. The ski lift, sledding run, and hiking trails are within sight and draw even non-skiers out into the snow-covered winter landscape. Pets are not allowed in this NON-SMOKING apartment. Tourist taxes are included in the weekly rate!

Little slice of heaven

We loved out stay on Rigi Mountain in the chalet! The view was amazing, the beds were super comfortable with wonderful linens. We loved having a fire in the evening and looking for stars out on the balcony. Everything was perfect!! Heads up... you must take a train up the mountain to get to the cabin. We were given 50% off, but that really added up over the 5 days we were there. The rides were absolutely beautiful though!! Thank you for such an amazing chalet in the mountains. We will always remember it!!

Le chalet est situé en pleine montagne, situaion idéale pour se dépayser. Cependant l'accès est totalement impossible en voiture. Il faut absolument prendre un train touristique qui circule toutes les heures jusqu'à 22h et garer son véhicule en bas de la montagne. Nous avons donc dû ajouter au prix de la location une semaine de parking pour 2 voitures, une nuit d'hôtel car pas de possibilité de monter au logement après 22h et payer une semaine d'abonnement au train pour 6 personnes soit plus de 1200 francs suisses supplémentaire à payer dès le premier jour.Il faut donc aussi prévoir le ravitaillement et tenir compte qu'il faut être en parfaite forme physique pour apprécier le séjour.Nous aurions donc envisagé notre séjour différemment si nous avions eu connaissance de ces points lors de la réservation.Le logement est néanmoins très agréable et le dépaysement garanti.Merci de modifier le descriptif de l'annonce pour que les prochains visiteurs puissent anticiper.

Ich kommentiere Bewertungen normalerweise nicht. In diesem Fall möchte ich jedoch kurz etwas richtigstellen. Bereits im zweiten Satz unseres Inserats wird ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, dass die Rigi autofrei ist und ausschließlich mit der Luftseilbahn oder der Zahnradbahn erreicht werden kann. Diese Information ist somit klar und deutlich vor der Buchung ersichtlich. In diesem Fall liegt der Grund für die Enttäuschung aus unserer Sicht ganz klar darin, dass N. und ihre Familie sich im Vorfeld nicht ausreichend über ihr Reiseziel und die besonderen Gegebenheiten der Rigi informiert und ihre Reise entsprechend unsorgfältig vorbereitet haben. Die Rigi wird jährlich von über einer Million Gästen besucht, und jeder einzelne erreicht das Ziel mit der Rigi-Bahn, der Luftseilbahn oder zu Fuss. Die autofreie Anreise gehört zum besonderen Charakter und Erlebnis der Rigi.

Rigi Staffelhöhe Wunderbar

Wir hatten vier herrliche Nächte im Staffelhus und haben besonders den Ausblick genossen. Die Nähe zur Rigi-Bahn ist ideal. Wanderungen gehen direkt vom Haus los. Nachts viele Sterne und Abkühlung vom heißen Sommertag. Der ideale Ort um den Rigi kennen zu lernen.

Alpenpanorama mit Bergbahnanschluß

Alles Bestens! Das Haus befindet sich nur wenige Meter von der Bahnstation Rigi- Staffelhöhe entfernt. Vom Balkon hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Die Ausstattung ist komfortabel. Mit der Gästekarte gibt es diverse Ermäßigungen, z.B. im Verkehrshaus Luzern oder auch bei der Rigi- Bahn. Wer die Zentralschweiz umfassender erkunden möchte: der Tell-Pass gilt für Zug/Bus/Schiff und kann auch in der Talstation der Rigi- Bahn in Vitznau erworben werden.

A corner of heaven

Wonderful place in the cleanest air and the most peaceful corner of Rigi mountain. The house is fully equipped for anyone’s comfort.
