This spacious bungalow-style single-family home is set in the middle of a 1400 sq m property. It offers 180 sq m of living space for up to 11 people. With its open, spacious L-shaped living and recreation room (60 sq m) and its proximity to Frankfurt, the self-catering house is ideal for project-related stays, such as smaller workshops, or for companies looking for upscale temporary accommodation for employees in the Rhine-Main area. The house is also popular as accommodation for family celebrations in a central location in Germany. The house is very quiet and, with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2 kitchens, offers plenty of space to relax and regenerate thanks to the high ceilings on the ground floor and the generous layout of the rooms over 2 floors.

``` The house is ideal for a stay in summer thanks to its spacious grounds, a section of which has been set aside for guests (with a terrace, lawn, sun loungers, a grill, a large table and chairs, and parasols - see photos), a balcony, and a large courtyard for playing, as well as in winter thanks to the cozy tiled stove, the winter garden, etc. Minimum stay: 3 nights, high season: 5 nights! Heating oil (heating and hot water) is metered according to consumption and billed directly on site (€1.30/liter). Bed linen and towels can be rented optionally, or guests can bring their own.

Our stay was very pleasant, with plenty of space for the whole family. The house is well equipped. The garden is spacious and we spent a lot of time playing and having lunch and dinner there. The location is great, close to nature and touristic spots (Rudesheim, swimming pools, wine testing, tree climbing, amusement park). Gerit was very helpful and quick to reply when we had questions during our stay. I can only recommend this house!

Perfect experience. The property was in outstanding condition and located conveniently near Rudesheim and a short drive from the castles on the Rhine. Coordination with the host was easy and she responded quickly to every question and request. There were 8 adults in the house and there was plenty of space and comfortable beds. I highly recommend this property - it gives you the real German rural town experience but with easy access to Wiesbaden, Mainz and Bingen!

Ich fange mal mit dem positiven an. Die Frau Gerit ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und auch die „Putzfee“ ist sehr nett. Die Lage ist auch mit Hunden sehr gut. Aber und jetzt komme ich zum negativen. Das Haus ist in einem renovierungs bedürftigen Zustand. Man sieht an jeder Ecke das es ein altes Haus ist. Nicht jedes Fenster funktioniert einwandfrei. Auch die Bäder, sie funktionieren aber das war’s auch schon wieder. Unten im Keller ist saniert und neuer aber ich finde ich eher ungemütlich. Bin kein Keller gewohnt. Der Garten ist sehr groß an sich aber der größte Teil leider leider verwildert und nicht benutzbar. Achtung wer mit Hund reist, der Garten ist nicht eingezäunt. Die drei Sterne gibt es nur weil die zwei Damen sehr nett waren.

Entspannter Familientreff in geräumigem Ambiente

Sieben unternehmungslustige Familienmitglieder in ihren 60ern konnten im großzügig zugeschnittenen Haus im ruhig gelegenen Stephanshausen mit großem Garten ein paar gesellige und genießerische Tage verbringen, ohne zu eng aufeinander hocken zu müssen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, sodass wir uns nach Bedarf auch sehr gut selber versorgen konnten und bei ausgezeichnetem Wetter auf der geräumigen Terrasse speisten. Ansonsten wäre auch im Speiseraum genug Platz gewesen. Alle Schlafzimmer verfügen über Betten mit guten Matratzen, was für Menschen Ü60 mit anspruchsvollen Rücken nicht gerade unwichtig ist. Eines der drei Bäder verfügt sogar über ein Bidet. Kurzum: Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal im Ferienhaus von Frau Lense, die sich auf Nachfragen jederzeit als fürsorgliche Vermieterin erwies. Auch die ausreichende Nähe zu Schloss Johannisberg und Burg Schwarzenstein sowie eine Landschaft mit einem Mix aus Weinanbau und Waldgebieten für kleinere Touren war für uns ein dickes Plus des Ferienhauses.

Gemütlicher Aufenthalt für größere Gruppen

Wir haben das geräumige Ferienhaus mit sechs Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind genutzt. Man merkt dem Haus sein Alter an, aber genau das ist auch den Charme, den wir genossen haben. Die Lage im schönen Rheingau ist sehr idyllisch, allerdings ist ein Auto notwendig. Das Objekt ist sehr gut ausgestattet und auch der Garten kann dank vorhandener Spielsachen und Möbel gut genutzt werden. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin und ihrer Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort war ausgesprochen freundlich und angenehm. Insgesamt hatten wir eine tolle Zeit und damit ist dieses Objekt eine klare Empfehlung.

So wie wir es uns gewünscht haben

Wir sind zu 8 Personen und mit drei Hunden in dem schönen Anwesen gewesen. Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Top Lage, Ruhe, ideal zum Laufen und Wandern mit den Hunden. Die Ausstattung der Küche und des Hauses war sehr gut, so dass unserem gemeinsamen Kochen nichts im Wege stand.Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder.

Osterausflug mit Familie

Es war sehr schön. Man hatte im Haus und garten viel Platz, konnte sich auch mal zurückziehen. Wir haben im ganzen Garten Osternester versteckt, das war ein riesen Spass für die Kinder. Im Musikzimmer haben wir musiziert. haben Ausflüge gemacht und noch lange nicht alles gesehen. Wir kommen wieder. Man musste die Kinder nicht dauernd ermahnen,dass sie zu laut sind, weil wir ja alleine im Haus waren. Das eine oder andere sollte mal renoviert werden, aber im großen Ganzen war alles ok.

Das Haus war am Ankunftstag ausgekühlt und klamm. Wir konnten die Heizung nur eingeschränkt in Gang bringen. Dadurch waren auch die Bäder sehr kalt und ungemütlich.Ein Schlafzimmer im Keller war mit einem sehr schlechten Bett ausgestattet, Rückenschmerzen vorprogramiert. Die Lampen am Eßtisch waren so sparsam, dass man kaum etwas lesen konnte. Da wir sehr viel unterwegs waren, hat uns die wunderschöne Umgebung, das Essen und der Wein etwas entschädigt. Auch der Garten war für kurze Pausen sehr schön, da wir sonniges Wetter hatten. Gefreut haben wir über das Wilkommensgeschenk der Gastgeberin.

Ideal für ein Treffen mit der ganzen Familie. Sehr gut.

Das Ambiente sowie der Garten incl. Gartenmöbel und die großzügigen Räumlichkeiten sind super. Auch die zur Verfügung gestandene Tischtennisplatte und das Spielzeug sind gern angenommen wurden. Für die Selbstversorgung benötigt man das Auto. Man sollte also nichts vergessen. Auf dem Weg zum Nahversorger wird man aber mit einer tollen Gegend, eingebettet in Weinberge, belohnt. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und kann von uns weiterempfohlen werden.

Perfekt für große Familie

Das Haus bietet viel Platz mit 4 Schlafzimmern, 3 Bädern und einem großen Garten. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen- allerdings spiegelt sich dies im vergleichsweise günstigen Mietpreis wider. Gute Lage zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Weingütern in der Region.

Das geräumige Haus bittet alles, was eine Familie für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die günstige Lage im Rheingau sorgt für kurze Wege mit dem Auto zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten dieser Gegend. Regionale Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Ost, Gemüse, Wein) sowie Supermärkte und Discounter sind in der näheren Umgebung (einige Km) zu finden.

Schöner Silvesterurlaub

Wir haben in dem Haus mit 8 Personen (4 Paare) eine schöne Urlaubswoche über Silvester verbracht. Ja, das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, insbesondere zwei der drei Bäder könnten mal modernisiert werden. Aber es funktionierte alles und war sauber. Und durch zahlreiche Bilder und offene Kommunikation wussten wir genau, was uns erwartet. Im Gegenzug bietet das Haus viel Platz. Alle Schlafzimmer sind völlig OK, es gibt eine zweite Küche im Untergeschoss und die Ausstattung mit Geschirr, Küchenutensilien usw. ist sehr gut. Sowohl die Eigentümerin als auch die Verwalterin sind sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Wir haben uns alles in allem sehr wohl gefühlt.

Huis op zich was OK, evenals de ligging, maar.......... in de advertentie (Vrbo.com) stond dat er een open haard aanwezig was. Er was dus GEEN open haard. Wel een gigantisch grote tegelkachel, maar nog geen snippertje hout op het terrein. We moesten dus verwarmen met dure olie. Al bij al een onbetrouwbare advertentie.

Einfach super

Das Haus ist nicht riesig und nicht supermodern. Das ist jedoch auch überhaupt nicht notwendig. Es hat einen großartigen Flair. Gerade die Tatsache, dass vieles eben nicht perfekt ist und man ein wenig in der Zeit zurückreist ist toll. Musiker werden sich auch freuen, es gibt viel zu entdecken. Die Nähe zu Geisenheim und Rüdesheim am Rhein und auch umliegend schöne Reiseziele sind ideal auch für Gruppen. Ich kann es nur jedem weiterempfehlen. Familien dürften sich sogar noch wohler fühlen :)
