Two big holiday apartments with a garden, in an idyllic location right by the Ellé River, not far from the historic centre of Quimperlé


This former mill from the 19th century stands on a 1500m² enclosed plot of land right by the Ellé River. The historic centre of Quimperlé with its shops is about a kilometre away. The building has been carefully renovated and houses two exceptional holiday apartments, accessed via a pedestrian bridge. Holiday-makers will find an oasis of tranquillity in these idyllic surroundings.

The garden provides plenty of secluded little spots. A grill, garden furniture and sun loungers are provided for relaxing. You can have fun playing table tennis or table football. The site is secured by an automatic gate. Parking spaces are available.

Canoeing on the river is a popular sport. There is a canoe and kayak club 300 metres from the house, which has introductory courses, also for children. Of course there are also places you can go swimming and fishing. There are many hiking trails such as the famous GR 34 nearby. The well-known beaches at Pouldou are a 15-minute drive away.

Some canoes and a pedalo are available to explore the area closer to the water. The use of the canoes is your sole responsibility. Life jackets and paddles are available.

Treat yourself to an unforgettable escape by staying in the former 19th-century flour mill, ideally situated in the middle of the river "Éllé". Just 1 km from the historic centre of Quimperlé's lower town, this place, often described by our guests as a "haven of peace" or a "little paradise", promises the perfect tranquillity for your holiday. Whether you want to enjoy nature, go fishing or simply relax, our gîte offers a magnificent and exceptional setting.

The Éllé gîte has three comfortable bedrooms with authentic chestnut parquet flooring, sleeping up to seven people. It includes a spacious living room with open-plan kitchen, ideal for sharing convivial moments. The large bathroom has a bath/shower and twin basins, while the toilet is separate. All in all, the 80m² apartment has been designed for maximum comfort.

Outside, a charming terrace overlooks the water, promising complete relaxation and unforgettable moments with a breathtaking view of the river. Pedalos and canoes are available free of charge for exploring and immersing yourself in the wealth of local flora and fauna. It's the perfect opportunity to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of the area.

Situated at a crossroads of discovery, the gîte offers easy access to characterful towns such as Lorient, Pont-Aven, Concarneau, Quimper and Vannes, all within 20 to 60 km by expressway. The River Éllé, which can be navigated by canoe for miles, leads you to sandy beaches and charming ports such as Guidel and Le Pouldu, just 13 km away. For hiking enthusiasts, paths such as the GR34 and Saint Jacques de Compostelle are accessible from the property.
