The King Davis House is ready to welcome guests. We have always deeply cleaned & sanitized the house after each guest, but we are now sanitizing "high-touch surfaces" like door knobs, light switches and remote controls. We are using cleansing products that are EPA approved to disinfect. We have removed decorative pillows and throw blankets to minimize the risk of exposure. You should feel comfortable coming to the Gunnison Valley and staying at The King Davis House. But, if you feel sick or have a fever, do not come. This is small community with limited health resources. Our house sits at about 9,000 feet above sea level. If someone is not used to that level of altitude, it can affect them without added respiratory distress. Guests should bring face masks with them as they may be required to wear them when visiting the surrounding businesses. If you have any questions related to how things are going in Crested Butte/Mt. The spectacular view of the slopes of Mt. Crested Butte awake you every morning from this fully equipped 5000 SF home. With five bedrooms, 4.5 bath rooms, two fireplaces, two sundecks and a two car garage, this house will accommodate 8-12 adults comfortably. The large living room expands the entire top floor of the house making it ideal for large groups. Grab some firewood from our stocked wood room & build a fire in the living room fireplace and get comfy on the over sized couches & chair in the living room while you watch your favorite TV show or movie on the 50 inch flat screen TV. Equipped with a DVD player if you choose to bring your own movies or rent one from town. Get into lively game of pool with friends or family or choose a game from our game cabinet & play at the game table. Have fun while 'Fred The House Moose' and 'Nigel Deer' watch over you. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings at the table on the upstairs deck while the grill master of your group cooks on the stainless steel gas grill. The large open kitchen is fully stocked with anything you would need to cook your own meal. It even has instructions on high altitude cooking posted. Eat at the large dining room table or at the island. After you eat, don't worry about doing the dishes because there is dishwasher to clean up so you don't have to. After dinner, relax in the upstairs sitting area with a beautiful view of the mountain. When you are ready for bed, snuggle up in our memory foam topped beds with plush bedding & pillows. All bedrooms have Flat Screen cable TVs. 4 of the bedrooms have their own full bath to make it a suite. 3 of the bedrooms downstairs have doors to the sundeck. Our house offers every amenity to make you feel comfortable & at ease so you can relax and enjoy your stay. We have a property manager that is local for any questions or needs that may arise during your stay and we are always a phone call away.
