The lodge was crafted using reclaimed wood from 3 historic barns.

This cabin, home was a fantastic place to spend 5 days with family. The property was clean and well organized, the kitchens were stocked with everything we needed, and the home is located near everything on the peninsula. We would highly recommend this property to any potential renter and we hope to have the opportunity to rent here again.

The house was perfect for our reunion. Not only was it spotless and roomy, but it had two kitchens! The house was charmingly decorated with great attention to detail. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly recommend.

Family vacation

Our group of 14 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cedar Creek Lodge. We had plenty of room for everyone and enjoyed all the amenities. Appreciated the wood available for several campfires. Loved the location as we could walk to places in Fish Creek and we were not far from Nicolet Bay Beach where we spent several relaxing afternoons. Communication with the owners was great!

Amazing stay

This place is amazing. The house was beautiful and spacious for our needs. It was clean and fully stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen supplies. The living space had plenty of seating for all to hang out and the large kitchen island/table allowed us to all eat meals together. The location right outside of the park is perfect and it was so convenient to rent bikes right next door. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again.

Great place for family vacation

We stayed with our adult children, their partners and our 10 month old granddaughter. The lodge was great for our large party. We enjoyed the outdoor games, fire pit and grill. We also loved having both inside and outside eating spaces where we could all gather together. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. Hosts were quick to communicate and we booked their Kangaroo location for next year.

Perfect Friend Getaway

There are no words to do this house and location justice!! The house has so much space that you don’t feel crammed together, but also had so many great spots for us to gather and make memories. The game room, the kitchen island, and the backyard are just perfect for a group setting!!! We absolutely loved our time there and will be coming back!

A Hidden Gem in Fish Creek!

Absolutely loved this place. Location, Location, Location! Peninsula State Park at your "Door Step", Restaurants and shops within walking distance, not to say a central location to explore the DOOR! The patio area, kitchens, and firepit, are great for entertaining! I could only give a 5 star rating, but I would give it a 10 not only for the accommodations, but also for the property managers! A "must-stay" in Fish Creek!!!!

Incredible place!

We had such a great time with family during our stay. The home is beautiful, clean, and comfortable! We were so thankful to be blessed with such an amazing place. House was perfect for the 9 of us gathering together, we were all able to sit at the breakfast bar and share our meals and be all together in the kitchen. Kitchen was well stocked, and had everything we needed. Thank you so much Michael and Terri for allowing us to create new and fun family memories! The house had room for many more, as we had a few empty beds. Thankful!

Beautiful "cabin"

This 3800 sq foot "cabin" is absolutely fantastic. Bigger than most peoples houses I know. Beautiful decor on the inside and extremely well thought out. Even the pantry in the first kitchen drew rave reviews from our party. My wife and I took my Mother-In-Law, our daughter and four of her friends with us and there was not one complaint. All had a great time and it certainly could not be any more convenient. Within walking distance of some nice restaurants and downtown Fish Creek. To top it off, Mike and Terri,the owners, were both very nice to us upon arrival and departure.

Lovely place

Lovely place for sure. This accommodated 6 couples and we all agreed it was cozy and worked well for our retreat. Good location and as we entered we were surprised that the place was right by the state park. From the pictures you had no idea that the place is in town. We thought we would be in a country setting. The yard is quite small but that was no concern to us. One thing that we did not appreciate were people cutting through the property at all times of the day as a short cut. It was a good location as we were able to walk to the shops in town instead of having to fight the traffic. Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay, Fantastic cabin, Fantastic location!

For the 2nd year in a row we've stayed at Michael and Terrie's cabin in Fish Creek with a total of 5 couples. The cabin really IS spotlessly clean, new, and decorated with lovely décor and feels like home. Last year I was so impressed with all the beautiful woodwork inside this place, and again this year it continued to impress me--it really is that beautiful. It was a great place for 5 couples to have a winter get away weekend. Plenty of room to gather around the kitchen table which is made from a bowling lane recycled into a really cool and unique kitchen counter/bar/table. Winter weather was in our favor this year with adequate snow to ski and snowmobile (last year that was not the case but we had a blast anyway). It was so nice to put the skis on after walking across the short driveway and immediately being inside the beauty of Peninsula State Park. We also walked across the street one night for pizza at the Wild Tomato restaurant, which by the way has some really great wood fired pizza. If you are considering a place to gather with a sizable group this is the place you should book. Except not when I want it, because I'm coming back again next year!

Awesome property, location and owners!

This property couldn't be more beautiful, functional, comfortable, or better located! We had 13 in our party most recently, and it was more than roomy. More seating in the common areas is always an issue in vacation rental properties, it seems. But the kitchen island chairs were easily added to the living room just next to the kitchen to allow us all to watch a movie, talk, etc. The island is huge, allowing us all to eat together, to play games and to spread out. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed. The common areas in the mother-in-law suite attached to the living room also gave space to those who wanted some peace and quiet while the rest of the place was humming. And the two fire places, one in the main house and one in the mother-in-law suite, make the lodge even cozier, especially in the Fall and Winter. The lodge is located just at the mouth of Peninsula State Park. Right next door is a rental place for bikes, scooters, kayaks, other vehicles to get around in, and equipment with which to enjoy the parkland and the water. If you turn left on the road that, if you turn right onto it, leads into the park, you find yourself on route 42, the main, north-south drag that takes you through all the towns and villages on the west side of the Door Peninsula, from Sturgeon Bay in the south to Gill's Rock in the north. And, on 42, it's a short walk to restaurants, frozen custard, coffee, and shops. In the past, we've stayed here in January and still walked (albeit bundled up) to nearby food, drink and stores. Michael and Terrie are wonderful. Responsive and helpful, just a pleasure to deal with. The bit extra you might pay to stay in their property is well worth the additional dime.

Everything we were looking for and more!

This place was perfect for our group of 9 ladies on a getaway trip. The accommodations were excellent -- nicely appointed and well supplied. The owners have seen to every little detail. It's a rustic appearing yet lovely home with great seating and sleeping areas for a large group. The location in Door County is excellent. Communication with Michael has been great. We liked it so much, we're planning our return next year at the same time. Highly recommend Cedar Creek Lodge.

Our family enjoyed the space, the game room and the location. Walking downtown Fish Creek was easy and Peninsula State Park was right down the road. A bike shop is right next door for your convenient for your convenience.

Perfect spot for large groups

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! Location couldn't be better- centrally located in Door County. House was spacious, well stocked, clean and very roomy for our group of 12. Owners have really have thought of every detail for a comfortable stay! Communication was excellent throughout- owners were helpful, accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend!

Thanksgiving 2024

The lodge is without a doubt one of the best rentals in Door County (if not the best!). Beautiful, clean, expansive property located perfectly at the southern entrance to Peninsula State Park. It’s just a short walk into Fish Creek and some terrific restaurants. The lodge comfortably fit my parents, two sisters and their families — 18 in total. It was wonderfully decorated for the Thanksgiving holiday. We’ll definitely be back in the future. Thank you, Michael and Terrie!
