Jadrija is a small village inhabited mainly by Croats.
Around the house (within a radius of no more than 150 metres), you will find 3 restaurants including 2 pizzerias, an ice cream parlour (where you can also get excellent fresh doughnuts) and several cafés and bars.
In a small supermarket, a corner shop and several fruit and vegetable stalls, you will find everything you need for your daily needs. Recently, there is also a fish seller on site every morning. Larger markets such as "Lidl" or Djelo (especially for products from Sibenik and the surrounding area) can be found in Vodice and Sibenik. There is a market every day and you can buy everything from the region, especially fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables.
We prefer the market in Sibenik, which can also be reached by ferry. There are only small streets in the town, which makes it practically impossible to drive fast. It is therefore very quiet and very safe. A large children's playground, mini golf, table tennis, basketball, handball, tennis, volleyball, beach volleyball and football pitch round off the leisure facilities.
The beach is 3 minutes away. You can also bring your own boat and moor it at the harbour pier. We will be happy to help you obtain a boating licence.
The Krka, Paklenica and Murter National Parks are in the immediate vicinity. The towns of Sibenik, Trogir, Split and Zadar are no more than 50 kilometres away and well worth a visit. There is a ferry from Jadrija to Sibenik. It takes 15 minutes and you arrive at the harbour promenade in Sibenik. The market is about 200 metres away. You are already in the old town centre. A boat trip to the islands of the Sibenik archipelago is also highly recommended. The islands are great for swimming, snorkelling, eating, drinking and relaxing. The last ferry returns at 21.30 - then you can have a drink or a café on the harbour promenade in Sibenik and round off a successful day. In Omis, which is 20 kilometres behind Split in the direction of Dubrovnik, is the Cetina, which flows into the sea there. There is a 2 km long golden sandy beach and a mountain massif that rises up to 1400 metres right next to the town. Behind the massif, rafting tours of all levels of difficulty have been available on the Cetina for several years. Some of our guests have booked family rafting and were thrilled. Water skiing is excellent in the mornings and evenings, when the water is almost always as smooth as glass. In Vodice, which is about 10 kilometres away, you can hire jet skis, water skis and boats of all kinds. Here, too, nothing works without a boating licence. Don't let them talk you into it either - they say you don't need a licence or there are no checks. If something goes wrong, the hire company will tell you that they said they had the licence and just forgot it at home.
Flat II is located on the first floor, faces south and has a great sea view. The flat has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and a large terrace and is designed for a maximum of 9 people. For 2 people in a double bed, 2 in single beds, 3 in bunk beds and 2 on a sofa bed. It should be noted that the bunk bed is of very high quality and has very good mattresses. The air conditioning is sufficient for the whole flat, as long as you close the windows and doors and open the room doors. German TV programmes are available via satellite and you will find a basic supply of oil, salt, sugar, spices, soap, washing-up liquid, kitchen roll and toilet paper in the flat. Everything is fresh - nothing from the previous tenants. A microwave, coffee machine, toaster, egg cooker, dishwasher and kettle round off the kitchen equipment. There is also a large fridge in the vestibule in front of the entrance door. The terrace is huge at almost 20 square metres and garden furniture and 2 loungers are available for you. The terrace also offers a wonderful view of the Sibenik archipelago as well as Sibenik and Vodice, and extensive information material is also available for the excursion programme.
There is a large barbecue and a washing machine on the middle floor. Detergent, fabric softener and firewood are free of charge. WLAN is of course also free of charge.
There is also free Wi-Fi on the beach in and around the cafés. Final cleaning and air conditioning are also included in the price. Unfortunately, this is not a matter of course in Dalmatia. There are more than enough bed linen, towels and large towels for the beach in the flat. Bathing mats, flippers, parasols and other beach utensils can be found in front of our terrace.
The beach is 3 minutes away. The path is almost completely in the shade. You can also bring your own boat and moor it at the harbour pier. If you are interested in obtaining a pleasure craft licence, we will send you the application form by e-mail. This must be signed and returned to us in the original with 2 biometric passport photos. You will receive the course material as a link. If you study for 5 - 10 hours, you will pass the exam. This should be completed at least 1 month before you go on holiday. If you come for at least a week and register for the exam immediately after your arrival, you will still be able to pass. The exams usually take place twice a week with the harbour captain in Sibenik or Vodice.
Internet is free of charge. A cot is available. On request, we can put you in touch with boat owners who offer excursions of all kinds. One of our flats is wheelchair accessible.
