This house was really lovely and very comfortable. Loved the hot tub and the outside decks. Kitchen was well equipped. Location made it easy to get to around. Driveway is windy and challenging. A suggestion would be some visible markers in the curves for drivers especially at the bottom right where it drops off. Host responded quickly to questions and was helpful.

This is a beautiful property. We came here for a girls getaway and loved the house. It is beautifully decorated. All the rooms were very clean. We loved the outdoors with all the deer visiting us. The hot tub was clean and we enjoyed it. The house is close to everything in Deep Creek Lake. Our host, Matthew, was very communicative and made sure we knew about everything. His handout about the house was very helpful. He promptly responded to any questions before and during our stay. I highly recommend this house because of the location and beauty of the home. And especially because Matthew made sure we were comfortable and had a great stay. Our very minor issue was the driveway. It’s a bit of a challenge if you’re not used to a steep driveway. But we were pros by the time we left. We definitely would stay here again.

We chose this spot because it delivers the best of the area: privacy and quiet, but still close enough to everything that makes Deep Creek special. The home feels tucked away—more “retreat” than “rental row”—with a peaceful, natural setting and incredible views (especially at sunset). It’s the kind of place where mornings are slow, nights are dark and quiet, and you can actually hear nature. For us, it’s the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience.

This is our personal home-away-from-home, and it’s set up like one—new, elevated, and thoughtfully appointed rather than minimally furnished. The standout is the setting: sweeping views of forest, lake, mountains, and sunsets that honestly stop you in your tracks.
