About this property
Shady Bend Cabin Located just 1 Mile from Wolf Pen Gap South Trailhead
Cute, secluded cabin in the Shady Mountains — just 1 mile from the South Wolf Pen Gap trailhead.
Shady Bend cabin is nestled in a beautifully wooded, private setting with a convenient circular driveway and paved highway access. Wildlife is frequently seen on and around the property, making it a peaceful mountain retreat. We also have a Bunkhouse on the property than can be rented for larger parties or as another option.
There’s plenty to do on-site: enjoy horseshoes, cornhole, a game of pool, board games, or relax with TV and movies.
The cook shack features a gas grill, perfect for outdoor meals. Unwind in the evenings around the fire pit, and enjoy a well-lit property for nighttime comfort.
The pavilion offers plenty of seating and picnic tables for gatherings. For ATV and side-by-side riders, trail access is only 1 mile from the property — no hauling required.
While you’re here, explore nearby attractions like Little Missouri Falls, Bard Springs, Shady Lake, and Albert Pike Recreation Area. The newly renovated Queen Wilhelmina Lodge is also a scenic drive, especially beautiful in the fall.
