Our holiday rental was newly furnished in June 2020. Every evening, when the sky is clear, enjoy a front-row view of the sunset over the lake. Hiking, biking, paddling—recharge your batteries in the magnificent natural surroundings of the “Sternberger Seenland” and “Nossentiner und Schwinzer Heide” nature parks.

Nestled amid the rolling hills of the Sternberger Seenland, the village of Klein Upahl—the pearl of the Seeblick region—lies on a ridge directly on the shores of Groß Upahler See. Here you’ll find your 70-square-meter holiday home with a separate entrance on the ground floor of the owner’s house, situated right on the edge of a nature reserve. Thanks to its elevated location, it offers fantastic panoramic views of the lake.

The modern holiday apartment was furnished in 2020 and features a living room with an open-concept kitchen offering a panoramic view of the lake, a lovely, cool bedroom (thanks to the hillside location), a bathroom with a lake view from the toilet and a walk-in shower, as well as a hallway and two small storage rooms.

A shaded outdoor terrace right outside the front door is the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee. At the end of the property, your 12-square-meter sun terrace with a fantastic panoramic lake view creates a dreamlike holiday atmosphere. Make yourself comfortable here for romantic evenings listening to the bittern’s call. Put your feet up—and relax.

The swimming area is just a 5-minute walk away. If you don’t feel like cooking, be sure to try the menu at Steakhaus Brasil. It’s one of the best restaurants in the Lake District and is located in the old manor house on the village square.

The landlord has three cats. From time to time, a neighbor’s two horses graze near the property. Deer live in the nearby lakeside forest. Therefore, please understand that pets are not allowed. Smoking is prohibited inside the holiday rental. Please smoke only on the lakefront terrace.

Electricity for charging electric car batteries is not included in the standard services but is permitted upon request for a flat fee of 50 € per charging session
