"Great ski house close to Sunday river, plenty of space for our family of 5 - modern heating, fast internet for multiple devices, kitchen stocked with all types of cooking utensils (and a few sweet goodies - sorry my kids ate so many of them), clean bathrooms with plenty of hot water, washer and dryer that was very helpful, and close to numerous restaurants. Great place!" - Dwight

Second time I’ve stayed here. Love this house. Quick drive to Sunday River.House is very clean and a perfect setup for a weekend trip. Great bedrooms and bathrooms and the living room is awesome for hanging out. Kitchen has everything you need. It’s a 10/10 place to stay!
Very clean! Well kept and organized. Lots of room and a quick ride to the mountain. Outside looks like a log cabin and it’s out in the middle of the woods, very cool vibe! Highly recommend!

This house war perfect for our group staying the long weekend and skiing at Sunday River! It is less than 20 minutes from the mountain and even closer to town. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need.Everyone really enjoyed the beds and how comfortable they were. Overall 10/10 and would recommend to anyone
We had a fantastic stay at the Bethel Escape. Not only is the house immaculate, but all of the necessary house supplies were readily available. We were able to prep lunch as well as cook dinner on the nights that we didn't go out. The house is located just a few minutes outside of the town of Bethel and it was an easy 15-minute drive up to Sunday River. Our host Kaitlyn had everything ready to go and was readily available via messaging for any questions that we had. It would be a no-brainer to stay at the Bethel Escape house on a return trip to Sunday River. Great time! Great stay!

Born and raised in Maine, I’m all about fresh air, snowy winters, and quiet getaways — which is exactly what this Bethel retreat is all about.
This cozy house is my favorite place to escape to, and I’m excited to share it with guests looking to relax, unplug, and enjoy the magic of the Western Maine Mountains.
I live about an hour away, but I’m always around if you need local tips — best hikes, coffee spots, or where to find the good powder.
What makes this property unique
Our place is so peaceful and relaxing. It is surrounded by beautiful woods so you can see a calming forest view out every window. It was carefully designed to maximize sunlight into the rooms and be eco friendly with all electric heat, an EV charger, and energy efficient windows and insulation.
