Upper Deck, Starboard Side (1st Floor, Left) - Altstadthaus Stralsund

Apartment 2, on the upper deck on the port side, is located on the ground floor on the left and measures approximately 70 square metres, featuring 1 bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a full-size double bed, plus a cosy seating area consisting of a large couch with 2 armchairs and a cosy round dining table with 4 chairs.

In the living room, as in all of our apartments, you’ll find a large HDTV with cable service, as well as a Wi-Fi access point that ensures a stable connection for your computer and cell phone.
The apartment features a bathroom with a bathtub, an integrated shower, and a toilet.
In the kitchen, a four-burner stove with an oven and a microwave allow you to prepare your own meals. A refrigerator with a freezer keeps your food fresh—and a toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker ensure a delicious breakfast.
The apartment is non-smoking. Instead, you’ll find a designated smoking area in our courtyard.

If you need a travel cot, changing table, or high chair: Just let us know when you book, and we’ll provide it free of charge.

All apartments have access to the shared washing machine on the top floor. A clothes rack for drying your laundry is available in the holiday rental.

One dog is permitted for a fee (15 EUR/day + 25 EUR one-time dog cleaning fee) in the “Oberdeck Backbord” and “Deck I” holiday rentals.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in any of the other apartments.



Nestled among the island paradises of Rügen, Hiddensee, Usedom, and Fischland-Darß-Zingst, and set within the picturesque landscape of the Vorpommern Bodden Coast, lies the Hanseatic city of Stralsund.

Our quietly situated holiday apartments and the holiday home are located in the Old Town, right next to the Old Market, which is less than 50 metres away. The theatre, the beautiful town hall, the tourist information centre, and the harbour are just a 2-minute walk away.



Shopping options are available nearby. A supermarket is a 250-meter walk across the Old Market. The pedestrian zone between the Old and New Markets, with its many shops, begins just 100 metres away. Many restaurants and breakfast cafés are located right nearby. The harbour and the Ozeaneum are a 10–12-minute walk away.

If you’re arriving by car, there are several car parks available in the Old Town.
The car parks at the Maritime Museum, the Ozeaneum, and the harbour offer multi-day tickets for 8 EUR per day (ticket shop/card payment only). Paid electric vehicle charging stations are also available there. 

Bicycles can be parked (uncovered) in the courtyard. The courtyard is accessible via 5 steps and is reserved exclusively for guests of the property. E-bikes can also be charged in the courtyard (outlet in the adjoining building).

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out is from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
