The master bath offers both an exceptional shower and an amazing claw foot soaking tub. The guest bathroom also offers delightful amenities, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen offers everything one needs to prepare amazing meals for your enjoyment. Central air and heat keeps the space comfortable year-round. Whether you’re curling up inside or simply soaking in the serene atmosphere on the front or rear porches, this property invites you to feel right at home. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay.

We're ten minutes from New Orleans International Airport. There's access to great dining, shopping and attractions all within short drives. Whether you're visiting to enjoy New Orleans, the River Parishes historic sights or are just coming down for our amazing culture and food, The Guest House is sure to check all the boxes for the sophisticated traveler.

We offer both Kuerig and pot coffee systems, water kettle, microwave, ice and water service on the refrigerator, toaster and air fryer for your enjoyment.

The front porch is an amazing place to relax with a beverage and watch the ships pass discretely behind the batture trees. The rear porch has amazing views of the beautiful Louisiana sunsets. Guests are welcome to walk to entire property (except the immediate areas around the Main House and Hunna House. Guests are also welcome to carefully walk across River Road and climb the Mississippi River levee to walk or bike the breathtaking paved path flanking the river.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Return AC thermostat to 78. Dispose of spent coffee filters or pods.
Place trash in rolling bin downstairs. All trash must be in liner.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
All grilling to be down downstairs. No video productions. No parties unless arranged with owner in advance. Exterior security cameras on property.
