Isabelle was a fantastic host! Her house is beautiful and spacious and located close to local bars and restaurants. Her communication at check-in and throughout our stay made our week perfect, sharing local places to eat that were fabulous. Thank you Isabelle for sharing your place with us!

If you want to relax and not worry about your stay then do no stay here. The host will want to walk through the entire property with you. I said I was check out on time but the host didn’t believe me and proceeded to immediately come to the place and make me swear to leave on time. Host told me not to hurt a “40,000” painting that ChatGPT said was worth 100. After check out, the host sent me a nasty message about how we left the place unclean. I have time stamped pictures of how nice we left the place

In 20 years of doing short term rentals, it is the first time I get a bad review.
The dynamic host/guest work if a few reasonable rules are followed:
1-Check-in is at 3pm so if you show up at the house at 7.19am without host knowledge that is a problem.
2-If you book for 1 guest and 5 guys show up that is an issue.
3-Check out rule is that you must vacate premises before 11am: if you send your host a text that says you are not going to leave before 3pm on check out day that is a major issue, especially if your following guests are check-in at 3! Of course, we can be flexible with check-in/ check-out and we are.
The role of the host is to be attentive to guest's needs and make their stay easy and that is why we do a couple of minutes tour, answer questions and help with luggage if necessary and then we disappear. And guests know to contact us regarding any issues.
Interesting event occurred with these gentlemen: our neighbor witnessed food being thrown out of bedroom windows and food was found in and under beds... and I had to hire additional help to turn out the house for following guests.
Last, we do have a wonderful painting from Canadian painter Jack Goldstein and yes, it is pricey. It is our pleasure to have great art at the house, and it makes it more fun for our guests than just bare walls...
