Twenty years ago, I acquired this property with a clear intention: to restore what had been lost. The land had been cleared for coffee plantations, so I removed the coffee plants and replanted 2,500 native trees. Before any construction began, I focused on regenerating the tropical forest, allowing wildlife and birds to return and the ecosystem to heal itself.
Why they chose this property
I had a friend who lived in the village below, whom I visited often. Through those visits, I fell in love with the mountain landscape. One day, my friend introduced me to the owner of this land, and I immediately felt it was a rare opportunity—to settle here and build my dream.
What makes this property unique
I built this property largely with my own hands, shaping it step by step over time. From replanting every tree to carefully choosing the style and spirit of the main house, each decision reflected a deep personal vision rooted in local craftsmanship and locally sourced materials, always in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem. What began as an idea slowly became a place grounded in nature, patience, and care—and today it is still maintained in the same spirit, with deep respect for both the local community and the environment. It now stands as the realization of a lifelong dream.
