Enjoy the abundant wildlife from the privacy of your vacation home located on over a full acre of Tonto National Forest. See the wonderment in your loved ones faces when they spot the first deer, elk, squirrel or other forest friend.

The quaint town of Pine offers shops along Main Street for browsing or a refreshing ice cream. Go antiquing or visit one of the summers arts and crafts festivals. Check out the sites by hiking, boating, fishing or sight-seeing by car. The cabin is a short hour and a half drive from Phoenix and two hours to the Grand Canyon.

Enjoy the cool shade of Ponderosa pines in the summer or relax by the crackling fireside and roast smores while the snow falls in the winter. No matter which season you choose to visit, there is beauty all around.

If you choose to be active, you can visit and hike the beautiful Tonto Natural Bridge, Fossil Creek, East Verde River or fish the nearby Rim Lakes. There are many scenic hiking trails to choose from. With Payson only a short 15 minute drive away, you can catch a movie, visit the casino, purchase groceries, or go shopping and then drive back to your private mountain retreat.

Treehouse On The Rocks is a beautifully furnished, 3,000 square foot cabin with many levels. Located at an elevation of 5,500 feet you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax in this spacious retreat. The sleeping arrangements consist of a Master Suite with a California King bed, fireplace, sitting room and loft including two couches with full size hide-a-beds. The Master Suite includes a flat screen TV with satellite and gorgeous dark wood ceiling beams. In this room's walk-in closet is a large dog kennel to keep your pet if you leave them unattended. We welcome a maximum number of 2 well-behaved dogs. There is also a fenced in yard off this room's sliding glass door for pets to exercise.

There is a King bed in the second bedroom with a skylight above for stargazing while you fall asleep or watching the clouds or dragonflies fly by upon waking. This original master bedroom also has a flat-screen TV with satellite. Also available in this room's walk-in closet are three pack and plays for babies or toddlers to sleep in.

Bedrooms three and four are downstairs, and share a Jack and Jill bath. The third bedroom has two sets of trundle beds, for a total of four twin sized beds. Bedroom Four has a bunk bed that sleeps three people as well as a full-sized futon. Both downstairs rooms have a TV with DVD players.

The fully stocked kitchen is on the same level as the skylight bedroom. It hosts a full sized refrigerator, two ovens, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee in the beautiful bay window dining set while enjoying the view of the rim. Bring all your food and warm it up, cook your homemade meals with all the supplied kitchenware or visit one of the nearby restaurants. Whatever you decide, all options are available to you. Also provided, is a stainless-steel grill on the back patio with necessary grilling utensils.

On a separate level, there is a formal dining room with a table seating for ten. Inside the buffet you will find board games you may enjoy.

The living room hosts a beautiful natural stone fireplace from floor to wood beam ceiling. The deck may be entered from either of two sliding glass doors of the living room. Relax and watch satellite TV or a movie on the flat-screen located in the living room. Above the living room, is a loft with an air hockey and foosball tables for your enjoyment.

There is a two-night minimum when making a reservation with the exception of these holidays: MLK weekend (3 night min.), President's Day weekend (3 night min.), Memorial Day weekend (3 night min.), Labor Day weekend (3 night min.), Thanksgiving weekend (4 night min.), Christmas Day (3 night minimum). Check-in time is 5:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM however, with availability, we are happy to accommodate an earlier check-in with prior notice.
