The cabin was beautiful, very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. It does sleep 8 with three double/queen beds and a bunk bed, but the common‑area seating doesn’t match that capacity. Only two, maybe three people can comfortably watch TV, and the dining table seats four at most.The hot tub was unusable due to a strong sewage smell. The host said it was because of the well water, but the odor made it impossible to enjoy.The kitchen was equipped, but missing basics like a can opener, and the pots and pans were low quality. I bought a can opener at Canton First Monday for 1 and left it for future guests.There were thoughtful touches like coffee and a Keurig, Kleenex in every room, hair dryers, and provided shampoo, body wash, and laundry detergent. However, the GFI outlet in the master bathroom didn’t work, and while the window A/C units kept things cool, the filters were extremely dirty when we checked them.Overall, the cabin has charm and potential, but several maintenance, communication, and accessibility issues kept it from being a perfect stay.
