About this property
Idyllic Charming Cottage with amazing views
Summary:
Do you dream of an idyllic holiday in a charming house more than 100 years old, surrounded by beautiful nature, peace and quiet, yet within walking distance of the cosy cafés and restaurants at Lohals Harbour? Then this home is the perfect choice.
Set on historic mill grounds and surrounded by forest and green landscapes, the house offers views towards the sea and Lohals Harbour, just one kilometre away. Close enough for beach days and summer evenings by the waterfront, yet far enough to enjoy birdsong, stillness and true tranquillity
The Space:
Inside, you’ll find a bright and welcoming home where original beams and classic charm meet modern comfort. The spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is the heart of the house, ideal for lingering meals, games, and memorable evenings together.
The Neighborhood:
A supermarket is convenietly located only a 5–10 minute walk from the house, as is the wonderful Hedorfs Bakery – an absolute must visit during your stay. For an added experience take the the idyllic church path winding through meadows and forest, where you will often spot deers and pheasants. This is also our favourite route when walking down to Lohals Harbour to enjoy a coffee or a meal at one of the many cosy cafés.
The supermarket also offers superchargers for electric vehicles.
Getting Around:
With the house’s bicycles, you can easily explore the surronding area, go on small adventures along the coast or cycle to one of the many beautiful beaches on both sides of the island. There is almost always a perfect place for a swim, no matter the wind or weather.
Other Things to Note:
Langeland offers a wealth of experiences and sights that we ourselves love to explore. The island is easy to get around and you are never far from either nature or the sea. Visit the beautiful Tranekær Castle, explore the Medicine Garden, see the wild horses or browse the charming roadside stalls. The area is also ideal for walking and cycling in the scenic landscape, and the sea invites you to enjoy kayaking, swimming, sailing, fishing and kitesurfing.
