Discover this unique 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath town-home in Pensacola located on Bayou Chico. The unit is single story, no stairs. There is not a water view from the unit. Built in 1900, the Weis-Fricker kiln building is a true historic gem that supplied 60% of mahogany in the USA. Ceilings in the living room are a soaring 18' tall. The rest of the ceilings are 10'8". Original fire brick from the kiln is exposed in the living room, dining room and bedrooms. The bedrooms feature one king bed and one queen bed, perfect for a restful night with beautiful antique furniture and antique pictures. Stay comfortable year-round with heating and cool air conditioning or step out to a cozy front porch. Whether you’re relaxing indoors, outdoors, on the waterfront deck or exploring nearby attractions, this enchanting historic town home offers a true retreat to unwind in. Watch the Blue Angels practice and fly directly over the unit as a GPS point for the pilots is located in the parking area. Mahogany Mill is located 5 minutes from the front gate of Pensacola Naval Air Station, 2.5 miles to downtown, Pensacola Bay Center and the Blue Wahoo's baseball stadium. Perdido and Pensacola beaches are just a short 20 minute drive. Blue Angels '26 practice schedule: 9/9, 9/15, 9/22. 10/14, 10/20, 10/28.

It is very nice place, private, secluded very boat friendly. Secluded enough. I left all my fishing gear outside from being rinsed off and boat lockers unlocked and never had a problem. Great place to visit and great location if you wanted to go over to Pensacola Beach.

We really enjoyed staying in this historical townhouse and reading all the information given about the history of the home. The host was super helpful as we arrived making sure we were settled and allowed us to keep our boat at the dock. We would definitely come back.

The host was very kind, and property was located well in relation to attractions. The GPS does try to take you to a different destination, but Host was very attentive about help us find our way to the destination! Super cute little town house! Very pet friendly as well!

This place was absolutely exceptional and we will definitely be returning! The owner greeted us and gave us a nice bit of history of the place. We were in a fabulous location, right on the water, making it easy access for us to enjoy our boat outings watching the Blue Angels. The only complaint I have is that time went by so very fast snd we are sad to have to leave. Until next time Chris and the Mahogany Mill…

The place is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Great beds, great showers. The parking is a bit sketchy for boat trailers. There’s a photo in the gallery of the side yard- which leads people to believe that’s included in where to take your dog to use the restroom. We were asked to avoid that area as it is used by the permanent renters. And that’s perfectly fine, but the photo should be taken out so there’s no confusion on what area of the yards to use. There’s no worthwhile fishing to be done from the dock. You’ll need a very long water hose and extension cord for boat maintenance. The AC works great inside the house. Very nice kitchen. Could use more coffee cups and a slightly larger coffee maker. We loved the very close proximity of the public boat ramp. Overall- we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Chris is very nice and available for help if needed.

This property was a very unique place with a lot of interesting history. The property was close to activities we enjoy when in Pensacola, and is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood. One thing we weren’t pleased with was the water pressure in the showers, but everything else was great. Our pup loved it too!

Amazing stay!!! This pet-friendly home was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated with antique furnishings, and full of Pensacola charm and history. We loved the outdoor spaces and sitting on the shaded dock in the evening. Communication with the host was easy and pleasant. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to experience and relax in Pensacola.

Hello, I moved to Pensacola in '73 due to my father being in the Navy. Pensacola is the oldest city in the USA, not St Augustine that many believe. St. Augustine is the oldest running city though since Pensacola was wiped out by a hurricane.

Why they chose this property

Bayou Chico is beautiful and close to the Pensacola pass by boat leading you to the Gulf of America. Marinas and fuel docks are located on the bayou. The Oar House restaurant is just across the bayou! Mahogany Mill is located ideally to explore downtown, the Naval Air Museum and the historic lighthouse on base. Pensacola Beach and Perdido are a short drive away.

What makes this property unique

This property is truly one of a kind. Rail cars dropped off the mahogany slabs in the kiln and then picked them up after drying. This is where you will be staying, in the old kiln! The history onsite and around the Pensacola area is amazing.
