Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
We arrived late Friday night and immediately noticed the house was not clean. The floors and bathrooms were dirty, and when we turned down one of the beds we found two bugs and stains on the sheets. We had to strip the bed and sleep on towels. I later used one of the blankets and woke up with swollen, itchy eyes and hives due to cat hair on the blanket.I contacted the host through VRBO about the dirty conditions and the fact that there was no hot water. I was told fresh linens would be delivered that afternoon, but they never arrived. The home also had no extra linens and the fridge water filter needed to be changed.I messaged the following day regarding linens not being delivered and how disappointed we were in the service and reservation. When I requested a partial refund due to the lack of cleanliness and basic necessities, the owner refused. VRBO ultimately stepped in and refunded us on their end. VRBO contacted the owner via email. The owner has never reached out. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here.
