Romantic, pet-friendly waterfront suite; close to amenities, trails & beaches.

Our one-bedroom suite is the beach level of our home, private entrance, separate bedroom with Queen bed, full kitchen, living room with fireplace, full bathroom, deck with BBQ & exclusive use of a 4-person hot tub. The unit is pet-friendly. Wifi throughout the property, satellite TV, private parking. Breakfast supplies are provided to make your own. View of the inlet, Mount Ozzard across the bay. Beautiful sunrises, sunsets, bird watching, sea lions frolicking. Lots of bald eagles year-round, many deer walk around town. Easy access (4 blocks) to Main Street, restaurants & stores. Wild Pacific Trail is walking distance, as is the Ucluelet Aquarium.

We absolutely loved our 4 night stay at Anchors Inn. the accommodation was extremely comfortable and very spacious for 2 of us. The location is perfect. It's so peaceful right there on the water and we saw seals and herons every day. It's so easy to walk into town and explore all the great restaurants and shops. We walked the Wild Pacific Trail every day and we either rode our bikes or drove the 5 minutes to the different trail heads. Communication with Marilyn was seamless and check in was a breeze. Ucluelet is one of our favourite spots in the world and staying at Anchors Inn made it even more special. Thank you for accommodating us at this little slice of paradise.

A private suite in the owner's home, this rental delivered what it promised. Comfortable accommodation in a good location, and a lovely hot tub. It was unfortunate that a new home was being built right next door while we were there, with the crew starting at 6.30am (!!), but that is not the VRBO owners fault, and it should be finished by the end of the year? A real bonus is being able to launch your kayaks from the property, with easy access to the water.

It have to be renovated, old carpet inside and it and the towels smells not good inside ...like a little musty. The neighbours have a fishery with 1 big truck each day next and the garden and entree to the beach is only shadow and to much with trees and vegetation. Ped friendly means it smells also to dogs.....not our favorite!

The apartment was well stocked with the essentials plus some nice extras like breakfast items. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the water view from the couch. You could watch a sea lion swim by often and boats going by. Although you cannot see the water from the hot tub. We were able to watch two young eagles perched in the treetop well sitting in the hot tub. The owner was very friendly and attentive to any needs we had. You can buy fresh seafood right next door to cook in your apartment! I would recommend staying here! Thanks for a memorable vacation!

We moved here to Ucluelet from Vancouver in 1997, and added the one-bedroom suite in 2007.

Why they chose this property

We loved the idea of a waterfront property, having lived on a floathome in Vancouver for 11 years prior to moving here. The half acre property allows us to maintain privacy for ourselves & our guests. The West Coast of Vancouver Island has a rugged beauty that is unmatched anywhere else in B.C.

What makes this property unique

There is always something to watch on the waterfront -- fishboats coming & going, sea lions frolicking, bald eagles fishing, kayakers meandering by.
