Amenities of the MEERwasser Holiday Apartment<br><br>The 4-star MEERwasser apartment is located on the top floor of the Inselwind apartment building and offers a magnificent view over the meadows of the Mönchgut Peninsula and the Baltic Sea.<br>The apartment is bright and inviting, furnished with modern, high-quality Scandinavian-style furniture, and offers plenty of space for two people across its 47 m². Underfloor heating ensures comfortable temperatures during the cooler months, while air conditioning keeps you cool in the summer. You can relax wonderfully on the comfortable couch in the living area and enjoy the large Smart TV and free Wi-Fi. From the living area, you can step out onto the spacious rooftop terrace, where you can soak up the warm sun and enjoy the magnificent view. The high-quality, open-concept kitchen-living area with a dining area, a stove with four ceramic burners, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and a kettle offers everything you need for breakfast, lunch, and dinner together. The comfortable double bed in the separate bedroom ensures a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom, which is flooded with natural light, features a walk-in shower, a sink, a toilet, a hair dryer, and a mirror. The washing machine with dryer function is also perfectly situated here.<br>All skylights are equipped with insect screens and electric blackout blinds. You also have the option of using the two communal barbecue areas in the courtyard for social evenings.<br>A parking space is available for your car in the building’s private car park.<br><br><br>Complex:<br><br> The Inselwind apartment building in Groß Zicker offers 22 state-of-the-art holiday apartments, each with its own unique layout and design. The apartment building was completely renovated and reopened in 2020.<br><br>From the spacious holiday apartments on the upper and top floors, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Zicker Mountains and the Baltic Sea (Greifswald Bodden). The peaceful location on the Mönchgut peninsula is just the right place to recharge your batteries for everyday life.<br><br>The traditional farming and fishing village of Groß Zicker nestles against the picturesque Zicker Mountains on one side, while the vast Baltic Sea lies on the other. The beauty of the setting is reflected in the village’s idyllic architecture. Many thatched-roof, traditional houses—lovingly restored—with their beautiful gardens line both sides of the village street, which has retained its original character. A real eye-catcher is the historic parson’s widow’s house, a protected landmark, with its magnificent flower garden. Built around 1700, it is the oldest residential building on the island of Rügen. For over 100 years, it served as a residence for the parson’s widows, and later as a school building. Today, it is a popular museum and is used for small art exhibitions. After all these years, it is still owned by the church.<br>The village’s location at the foot of the Zicker Mountains is attractive to residents and holidaymakers alike. On long hikes through the mountains, you can enjoy new, breathtaking views of the mountains, the Baltic Sea, and Rügen’s Mönchgut Peninsula at almost every turn along the trail.<br>The spacious beach is only about 2 kilometres from the Inselwind apartment building. The beach is easily accessible by bike or car (parking available). Sunbathers, water lovers, sandcastle builders, and shell collectors will all find plenty to enjoy here. The fine-sand beach stretches for nearly 6 kilometres, from Lobbe to Thiessow.<br><br>Since spring 2021, the Inselwind apartment complex has been home to De Wienkist “Flammkuchen & MEER.” Here you’ll find a small selection of German wines, delicious homemade Flammkuchen, Mediterranean dishes to pair with wine, as well as soft drinks and beer. Hours of operation are daily from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.<br>Here you can grab a bite to eat or wind down the day in a relaxed atmosphere.
